yet i still use it because of the amazing coating and feel of the mouse. It feels like a smoothed rock. Why cant zowie improve it?

Yeah , coz making a mouse which is wireless (with 0 delay) , hence doesnt have the shit tier zowie cable, with better sensor, better coating, ptfe feet stock , better buttons and weighing 2/3 of a zowie (not to mention the lightest wireless and it doesnt even have holes) is so bad. shame on you Logitech.
Fuck logitech than, you have at least 5-10 different wired models which cost less than zowie while being miles ahead in features and quality. Complaining about logitech's prices wont change that. Move on, its 2021,zowie were good, they aren't anymore relative to other options you have.

Instead of adding 30 dollars to an already overpriced mouse (youre still stuck with the shit scroll, buttons, tank weight and coating btw) , plus having to play mouse surgeon, just get an equivalent ergo shaped mouse with top notch features (even a better sensor) already stock for less money....

imo I really like the scroll wheel, but ik im in the minority demographic. The scroll wheel is perfectly weighted imo which is essential in cs.

idk why you are such a fan of Glorious. They might have good clicks and scroll wheel, and also they copied the shape of Zowie's mice (model D = ec1a), but dude their QA is completely dog shit, I had 3 (!) replacements for their model D and still had issues with it, it's always about their shit plastic build that bends if you press strong enough and also makes annoying cracking noise. That's just unacceptable for a 70$ mouse. The only mice that I didn't have problems with were from zowie (had ec1a and ZA11). Currently, I use Logitech g703 which I also had problems with and already issued 2 replacements, shape is a bit on a smaller side for my grip, but clicks are nice + it's wireless.
So yeah, to summarize, Zowie are kinda old-fashioned in their perception of how a good mouse should look like and how technically advanced it should be, but at least it is a solid product that you can buy and forget about any problems. And yeah, it's a shame that they do not offer matte coat in 2021, that's the only thing that stopped me using ec1-a
to be fair to the superlight, it takes legit 10 mins to charge to full battery and it lasts for well over 10 days

cable not really need to paracord it fast !! and after it's feel like wireless. even glorious have better cable than xtrfy ....
it's a great mouse for no doubt the m42 but it's a 9/10 because of cable and DPI variation out of the box. 460dpi instead of 400. even after the firmware update you still have a variation about 10/15 ( just because the 3389 need higher feet like in the m4 ) not a 0.60mm classical but more close of 0.75mm
the m4 have feet about 0.85 and it's a light negative variation 390/395dpi on 400 dpi lvl.

because you never try it yourself the source is me and all website who try the mouse.
it's simple you take a caliper you put a distance 5cm for example. you go to the website mouse sensitivity you have an page where you can try it
you enter details of what you do
dpi
centimeters
unity of calcul ( inch or cm )
the axes
and you mouse your mouse put on the edge of the caliper
so your mouse move the exact right centimers you have choice and you have the real dpi of your mouse
i do this with all my mice.
the most precise it's the ec2 and the m4. the ec2 have a little positive dpi deviation about 2/4 dpi so nothing
and the m4 5 dpi in negative 395 avg ( you can have 1 or 2 dpi variation depend where you take the mesure on your mouse, more up or dowh of the sensor )
the m42 the vaxee even the model D have a dpi variation and it's double on every changin lvl
15 for the 400 dpi 25/30 for the 800 ect...
after it's depend of a lot of factors.

the 3360 is a generic sensor from pixart everybody have the same
just logitech and razer have dev their sensor but they come from pixart and it's for their wireless mice.

Oh god it's was hard to made him accept than it's not because a Pro play with this Mouse than she is good !!!! at the end he finally accept to try a glorious model D minus because she is a copy of the ec2 ... I have a Zowie S1, but I was thinking about getting the Vaxee NP-01 since it's made by the old Zowie employees and it's literally just an updated Zowie mouse. I still love Zowie though, but I wish they would try to update their mice in some way like other companies are doing. Improve their cables, make the mice lighter and maybe try to improve the buttons in some way or even consider making wireless mice.

about 70g, no post or pre travel on buttons ( better switch than zowie)
well balanced, great feet out of the box PTFE ( you can keep it 2 years EZ )
after two thing it's an ergo one with very pronounced curves. if you come from an ergo like ec, deathadder or others it's gonna be easy to adapt yourself.
so the shape can maybe feel strange at the start for some peoples, but she is less high on the bump on the left and more slim on grip part than an EC and Deathadder so it's a + for aim
after the cable is not top notch but he is better than the rubber from zowie.
after if you prefer ambi the m42 is a s2 with almost not bad parts, just cable is like the m4 i have change it and it's just perfect ( even too much and i need to little bit go down on my sens )

I feel the exact same way, I went back to my Steelseries Kana v2 after years of being on some other mice and holy shit, the build quality is insane compared to the Model O I use now. I also went and tested out my old FK1 and it’s exactly as you said, though I still prefer the Kana v2 imo.

Os hello I'm your savior here to clear things up xddd, so zowie mice are 100% the best by far and you can see that by the fact that pros in 2020 nad now still use them despite having other bad features like you said, but simple truth is that their shape is clearly just too good, even saw flamie)sponsored by logitech) say how much he loves the gpx and then 2 games later on cam saw him using the divina s1 with a rubber cable lololol, zowie isnt touching the mice bc they are scared to ruin them, the creators of zowie left the company and made a new one called vaxee, and recently released a new mouse(zywoo uses it, and when mentioned another logitech sponsored streamer, pengu from r6 said he was trying it too), so pretty much that is a "zowie" mouse now, it's called np1 and it feels amazing got it 2 weeks ago and been loving it :D

Pros are using it (btw MANY have moved on from zowie to other companies) simply because of a habit. Same as 4:3 res which will vanish with the upcoming years....people dont like changes, especially if they're good at what they're doing and are used to it. It still doesnt change the fact that zowie is outdated garbage, and you have many better mice nowadays.

Its false, its being used by pros who grew up /started cs in 1.6 and source , where you didn't even had 16:9 monitors and younger pros copying them. Ropz is a living proof how it actually needs to be done. Btw listen to his interview the the score, he said the literally every training session he notices enemies his 4:3 teammates cant see...not using your full fov with native res is plain dumb. Imagine purposly missing out on fov in a game which relies so much on fast responses (or youre dead). Don't get me wrong, im also a 4:3 user since its engraved in me for years, but i would most def play native if i would to start over.

Logitech, yea, i agree. Zowie? Lmao, its junk. Aweful scrollwheel, heavy, god Aweful cable, bad mouse feet, bad clicks, shitty coating. Shape is the only good thing which is being used by other companies nowadays. When you can get a mouse with a 3389 sensor, stock paracord, stock ptfe feet, good anti sweat coating and better buttons and scroll , all that while weighing sub 70 grams and costing the same or less than a zowie, i dont get why people buy zowie...its not 2015 , the mice market is so full of quality models, zowie is just obsolete. And that was the wired ones....i didnt even talk about the elite wireless mice like the viper ultimate, g pro wireless, and the new g pro x superlight, which is considered the best esports mouse on the market today. Apparently zowie doesn't believe in advancing with technology. Believe me, once youll try an esports grade wireless mouse, youll never go back to wired.
Check out companies like endgame gear, roccat, glorious, xtrify, g wolves. They all makes way better mice than zowie.

Scroll is made exactly for gaming. It's heavy because it should be like that. Most of players have jump on scroll and one pull down or up has to be a one jump. ZOWIE S2 has one of the best scrolls for gaming. It's heavy, you have 100% control of it and you feel exactly when u use it. And it doesn't jump by itself like for example Logitech G Pro.
Cable could be better but I still use mouse bungee so it's okay. Mouse feet are the best out of any gaming mouse :) Big and durable. I am talking about old zowies or the new ones because the first divinas had these 4 small feets and they were awful. Now they went back to their old style which is two big feets which is the best combo.
My zowie s2 weighs 82 grams. G Pro is 80g and superlight is 60g and I couldn't really feel the difference between normal G Pro and superlight (yes, I've tested it). So who cares if it's 82 grams or 60 just like in Glorious Model O.
I've had G Pro wireless and tested G Pro superlight. I didn't like the shape of g pro so I sold it and went back to using my black zowie s2. But yes, wireless gaming mouse is a next level thing and it feels very nice. Still, using mouse bungee with S2 and it feels comfortable.
And let's not forget that everyone plays on gear that is the best for HIM or HER. Mouse isn't really that big of a factor now because all those premium mouses are practically on the same level.

Best scroll i have ever used is what roccat uses for example on their kpu... literally god tier, best ever hands down.
A bungee mitigate a cable drag, true, but still, you can feel it....its not like a paracord or putting another flexible cable on a bungee, these can feel literally wireless with 0 drag.
Feet wise, i love ptfe, cant go back to anything else, ptfe feet's glide is just superior.
Well, i dont know what to say to the fact that you didnt feel a difference between 80 and 60 grams....20 grams are night and day in how the mouse feels, but what you feel is what you feel. 80-85 is an ok weight, yes, but after trying and getting used to (may feel weird at first) sub 70g mice, its impossible to go back to heavier...theres a reason why they're all being made light now, its just more comfortable and gives you more fine movement control.

Most pros are playing the game for well over 5-6 years, the time where zowie were the best, and its very hard to replace something you're used to and achieved greatness with. Still doesn't mean its the best. Things have changed tremendously since then , especially from 2019- now, and for a fact , you see MANY pros deviating away from zowie... You'll see that at least 4-5 people of the top 10 players aren't using zowie any more (top 2 players in the world aren't, and thats a fact). You can still live in 2017, be my guest. As i wrote to someone else here, if you wanna spend your money on an outdated overpriced product, go ahead , i wont stop you, have fun.
Buying zowie nowadays is straight dumb. Besides the good shapes (which are mimicked by many today), theres nothing good with these mice, its garbage. Todays esports mice market is so full of great mice , with 10 times better features for same/better prices than zowie. Zowie is literally obsolete these days, and whoever is still riding the old csgo pro zowie circle jerk just misses out.

I owned 3 zowie mice, one ec2a still lies in the closet here. Just try some of today's top competitors mice and you'll see for yourself zowie just isn't relevant anymore today. False most pros still use it btw...a handful of them still do because thats what they're used to , but many have moved on , and more will in the future unless zowie will get their shit together...

I've had Logitech G403 hero, sold it and went back to EC2-A. Then I bought G Pro Wireless but didn't like the shape. Bought ZOWIE S2 and loved it. Tested few days G Pro again but the shape wasn't for me so I sold it. 3 weeks ago I had a chance to test G Pro superlight and it was just the same g pro wireless but with better skates. Didn't even feel the difference in weight.
I don't feel a need to test xtrfy, glorious or razer because I like what I get with zowie S2.

you could change cable on the zowie tho, use a paracord and a mouse bungee and the cable will not be in the way. Do you have the new gpw? The old seems to always have double click issues at least the one I had did that.

i have 2018 gpw. No double click issue for me. Albeit i probably got a later revision, got mine in the summer of 2020. Even swapping the cord wouldnt have been enough, wireless is so much better. My irl friend got the early version of the g703 and his had double click issues, he got it replaced by logitech and it's fine now. shoulda done that

This is a reddit post and the glorious model O have a fabric problem, the sensor stop working and i play csgo, and in csgo need to have good reflexs and with this mouse i can play.
Before I had this mouse I had the Razer deathadder elite, and I'm playing a lot better, this mouse is 4 years old and has never given me a single problem.
With these answers please do not buy the Glorious model O

I just got the fk1-b thinking it would be as good as the fk1. However I don't think I like this mouse, but I'll give it time. My Steelseries Rival felt much nicer, and was also taller. The profile of the fk1-b just doesn't feel right.
The only argument zowie has is that most pros still use zowie. However it's mostly because most players have been using zowie for years, when zowie was the best mouse company by far. Zowie mice aren't bad, which is why many pros stick with it, but now better replicas are made that are wireless, lighter, and have better buttons that are not much more expensive.

since mouses had 500hz stable and responded fast it was already done, nothing u can do to be a huge difference, they did 1000hz after, then super stable mices with 1000hz and thats it, theres nothing else to improve, whatever mice u get nowdays will have stable 1000hz and will respond good, just find whatever shape u like and thats it, brand doesnt matter, u dont even need wireless, just get whatever and thats it
