I'm being serious, why does everything has to be a "bait" on this website ? This generation is soft, that's my point. When I was 9 I was killing and butchering chickens on my dad's farm, now people cry that they have to sit in school for 8 hours a day.

I was asking because if you weren't, then you have a severe lack of understanding of how mental illness works. Just because you were bought up differently doesn't mean those that suffer with it are, and I quote: "a 14 year old girl".
If you are that cognitively dissonant when it comes to mental illness, then there is no reason me continuing on with this post. Just remember not to disrespect others just because they are different, especially if they are a victim of mental health.

Life's been sucky for a better part of 2 years now. Can't wait for the things to get better haha. Ik just going to a therapist won't magically fix whatever is wrong with me but I'm truly and honestly fed up of waking up and just waiting to fall asleep again.
Also, CS and this site has helped me get through some really really bad days so I owe ya'll <3

Not every topic on HLTV is a negative one, friend. :) I'll admit though, the more positivity, the better! Whenever I make a thread, with the exception of one in particular, I always try to make it positive. ^^
1. Some planned events to look forward to, as well as watching AGDQ Online 2021 reruns on YouTube, as I missed most of the livestream.
2. I'm looking forward to seeing who will be within the Top 10 of HLTV 2020 - it's really exciting!

Yeah, it was a blast. Personally, I love 100%/completionist runs and there was an abundance of that this time. :D The "All Platinum Bolts" run of Ratchet and Clank 2 was incredible, The Ocarina of Time run was amazing, it's good to see ZFG back in the chair, now being sponsored by CLG of all organisations -- good for him! :)
GDQ events are some of the best highlights of the year for me, I look forward to SGDQ and I hope we can get a crowd for it this time - some runs just need a crowd. A good example is like that cutscene% run of The Wand of Gamelon from the Zelda CDi games -- A truly awful game and the only laughter we got was the commentators and the runner.

The blindfolded runs are extremely entertaining and annoying at the same time, in the sense you are flabbergasted by the show of sheer skill, yet kind of resent the runner for doing so at the same time -- Entertainment!

2. We managed to build a french speaking-team with old mates from 2006-8 for the new upcoming league and we have an active French community of about 20 people whereas I was the only active french speaker 6 months ago. So we are quite happy about it!

Nah i grew tired of it. I put so much time into it with retakes and DM everyday, very time consuming.
1. I work as a professor in a medical high school and have 1,5 year old son (enjoy my life right now)

1. I've been able to keep my job very stable, with all covid shit striking. A lot of professionals in the area have lost theirs. With that, i've been able to slowly build a setup.
2. For the first time, i've been able to play it in 144hz with my new monitor, result of number 1.

Mostly Inferno, Vertigo, Nuke.
Sometimes cobblestone or lake (for fun, but it's super random so not so fun everytime).
Rarely train (idk why everytime I play train I just get instant one tapped every round)

Nuke tside is all about rythm. Either you break in as fast as you can to surprise CTs out of position or you play the mind game, going slowly and opening the doors safely and using good smokes and flashes go propel yourself on the bombsite. CT side is a real pleasure if you're comfortable with timings and infiltrations.
But I agree, the most balanced and fair map is inferno. At least you can work comfortably with utility and the aim duels are quite fair

Idk about you but I play wingman because I don't want to wait until everyone dies when I rush. So I just smoke it then rush through it with a flash. A false sense of security you could say.
