s1mple is such a god despite handicapping himself by playing on a high sensitivity. How good would he be if he were a low sens abuser like NiKo, ZywOo, ropz, Twisstzz etc ?
I think his average rating would be at least 1.50 with low sense abuse.

very possible i started playing like that due to the fact that i didnt have much space to move the mouse and now im used to it
to high. My sens is 0.44 at 1200dpi and it isnt considered very low

actually yes it is very low, the average is 2.2
i play on 1.8@400DPI and don't consider it low, I consider low what is below 1.6 and consider high above 2.6 (just personal)
but 1.32 is actually very low
He certainly wont drop 0.61 and 0.83 rating in major finals with low sens AXXAXAXA

"Low sens abuser" 0/8 sens is pure personal preference, he may play worse on low sens. High sens doesn't really bother a player's performance unless it's insanely high.

You can get used even to woxic sens which is absurdly high as for me, so 1200-1400 edpi isn't such a big deal IMHO.

congratulations, you've located the joke.
If you watch syrson awp. You think he has a very low sense and still hit the shots.
The sense is a personal preference, especially when you play your whole life the game, you are best with the sense you learn it.
Remember when S1mple change mouse before Berlin Major... he missed a lot of shots. He changed back to his old mouse.

Look at NiKO aiming and cry more about low sens being worse for raw aim.
s1mple's aim isn't his strongest trait. There are better aimers out there. His playstyle, decisionmaking and confidence in the moves he does are what define him. Not his aim.

Diminishing returns. You don't need to be pixel perfect, but for specific long range situations when your goal is to onetap. It's a tradeoff. Lower sensitivity - lower range for wrist movements, slower aiming.
s1mple's awping is built on raw flickshots. Sometimes holding multiple angles simultaneously, ready to flick wherever opponent appears. What sense does it make for him to decrease sensitivity, when it might as well impair him instead?

I'm not saying he should switch. If I was him, I'd stay at 3.09@400. I'm just saying that your argument is bad. You said that s1mple's high sens enables him to have insane aim and I gave you an example of someone on low sens who has better aim than s1mple.
And again, s1mple's skills don't just boil down to him having good aim. In reality he could change his sens to almost anything (within reasonable margins, of course) and be just a good.
Afterall, he started at 3.09@650, then he went to 3.09@450 and now he's at 3.09@400.
3 different sensitivities during his pro career and even though he's been lowering it he's only been getting better.

So niko doesn't have better aim, but just lower sensitivity? That s1mple would get on same level or surpass him if he decreased his sensitivity? Raw aim is your skills that makes it, not your config. Rather, lower sensitivity is a tool, that decreases error margin for accuracy mistakes. If someone could aim flawlessly on higher sensitivity, then decreasing it would serve no purpose.
How do you define aim? Perhaps the difference is in that I don't see aim as just raw pixel point accuracy, but also include how it affects aiming speed and effective range of wrist movements. If not then you can just have 0.1 sens and have pixel perfect accuracy, but that doesn't mean your aim as skill is any good.

I once was playing at 1.6 to 1.7 and i jumped to 2.2 because it felt so hard and annoying to turn. Did that make me better or worse player ? No, when i get used to 2.2 i do the same stuff, just way easier to turn fast with less hand movement. About what abuse you talking about.

no it's higher than most player. Low sens is about 1.50 and lower. 2.00 is the medium sens.
Anything higher 1000-1200 eDPI could be considered high.

From I've seen the last 2 year, ZywOo changes keyboards, mice, sens pretty frequently, it doesn't impact him too much but I could see why it would in s1mple's case.

well different types of aiming, of holding the mouse, ZywOo has done a lot of surf, KZ etc and has very good movement, his style of aiming was impacted by it. It's kinda the same for me.
3.09 at 400 eDPI uses the wrist a lot but it's quite comfortable, you don't need great crosshair placement with this sens.
However, I still prefer lower sens like 2.0 because you need to be more disciplined and in my opinion, I need more skills to improve on it etc.
