I have Monster and Code Geass S2 on hold for now. I'll return to them eventually. Ping Pong the Animation I've great things about, but the art style is extremely off putting. Kids on the Slope looks similar to Your Lie in April, so maybe I'll check it out.

It was so boring my god. People were pegging it as the greatest anime arc of all time so I had high expectations. I actually dropped HxH for a short while because of how bored I got. I'm glad I did finish it, because its highs were fantastic. Unfortunately, it was a damn slug fest for a major chunk of it barring a couple of episodes at the very beginning and eps with the Phantom Troupe. I loved the ending to it though. Yorknew City Arc is still the best though. I still think it's a good arc all together, but it is very overrated.

I'm starting One Piece in February as my very first manga read, so I'll expand eventually.

Oh god. I watched the first episode of High School DXD once, it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen

High School DxD is full blown degenerate, but the dub was absolutely fucking hilarious, that I couldn't rate it any lower than a 8, besides BorN. As for SAO, that was a very early anime for me, and I enjoyed it back then. I used to have it as a 9 back then, but I've lowered it over time. I bet if I rewatched it today, I would not enjoy it.

I advise Konosuba and Assassination Classroom but none of them are on Netflix, at least for the US. Netflix US doesn't have the best comedy anime available (could be different for Canada) but here is what I found: -The Disastrous Life of Saiki K (I haven't actually watched this yet, but I've heard it's really good, but it is rather long) -No Game No Life (Sub or dub is fine) -Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Recommend the dub) -Kill la Kill (Also haven't seen this myself, but I've heard it's good For me, I prefer comedies when they are dubbed since I find jokes being Americanized a lot more funny. Idk if others feel the same about it, but that's it is for me. More serious anime I go with subbed.

Gintama is hilarious but not on Netflix unfortunately. It is on Crunchyroll. Edit: also if you like One Punch Man, you should check out Mob Psycho 100. It is by the same studio I believe and some people find it to be even better than OPM. It is unfortunately, also on Crunchyroll. And the second season of OPM is on Hulu in case you haven't seen it yet (not sure if it is on Netflix, that's why I'm letting you know)

Ever since COVID ran rampant in America, it's just been work, video games, and anime for me. A lot of time to watch anime. I'll be watching a lot less once online classes start back up.

Also, I forgot that you should watch Overlord. And I read your comment about how you liked Demon Slayer until Zenitsu showed up. Yeah he's annoying, but I don't know it didn't bother me too much. He has his moments as well.

I do highly recommend Vinland Saga. Askeladd is probably my new favorite antagonist in anime, at least for now. I will most likely pick Monster back up after the winter season is over. Cowboy Bebop may seem low, but I thought there were a few episodes that were really boring. I'm also not a huge episodic style anime fan, which is why I'm hesitating on starting Samurai Champloo. That said, Spike remains a Top 5 anime character for me despite those draw backs. I'm also very much enjoying JJK. Oh and dw, I don't plan on watching Berserk 2016, or even the early version. I'd rather just read the manga if I ever do get into it.

I base these mainly on my enjoyment. While the story in the Chimera Ant arc is extremely well thought out, I found the build up to the palace invasion extremely boring, barring a couple of episodes of course. That's my main drawback with the Chimera Ant arc. Its' pacing is extremely slow, which means a lot of boring episodes. If you want my honest opinion, I enjoyed this arc the least out of any arc in HxH. Yes, there were definitely some fantastic highs, but it was a real slugfest to get to that point. The ending was absolutely beautiful though. Pokemon XYZ is a bit of personal bias since its my favorite Pokemon anime series (If I watched it today, I know I would rate it lower since I'm older). I thought Re:Zero sucked at first, mainly because Subaru was unbearable for awhile. It wasn't until episode 13-14 that I actually started to enjoy it. I actually just increased ToG from a 6 to a 7. I think it is better than I give it credit. Haikyuu latest season was somewhat underwhelming, at least compared to the other seasons. MHA S4 was not the best. I thought Beastars was good, but I didn't like the last couple of episodes.

I've watched 6 episodes of Monster and will definitely return to that anime eventually. Might watch Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, but not right now.

It's literally DBZ with better dialogue, slightly better animation, and no filler. Of course it's better than the original. I grew up with the dub and the OG DBZ dub has not aged well at all.
