Im only pointing out the huge flaw that is; how can a show be good if its beginning is terrible. The show could be spectacular in its last 3 seasons but if i never got there through the first it would be an overall good but hugely flawed

ikr the first installment of a series is the most important as it is the opening and needs to grip the audience. It doesn't matter how good the rest are if the audience is immediately turned off

If the show needs my perspective on the story to change, and the story needs to get to the 3rd season to get there. That means that you need to watch 3 seasons until it gets good.

Are you comparing a 2 hour movie to 50+ hours of anime? Jesus Christ, you are deluded as fuck.
The difference is that a good story/show has to be compelling the whole way through. It simply does not work the way you are describing, like i have said previously, if a story does not draw you in and captivate your mind then it is not good. It needs to interest you at least in the first 25% and if not then it is not worth watching.
There is also a huge difference between fight club and AOT, and the difference is... who knew?? Fight club is good the whole way through, it grips you and forces you to watch. AOT fucks around with shitty characters who are completely socially fucked in the brain and cringey to watch, i started cringing like i had never before when they had those episodes in the training camp. It was not even boredom, its like me and the show were completely incompatible and that i wanted to put it down.
you have to be socially abnormal to like AOT and defend it in this way

Objectively there are no shows which are "compelling the whole way through". Even the best and highest rated shows aren't perfect.
If a story doesn't draw you and captivate your mind, it doesn't mean the story it's "not good"... lmao. I saw many reviews where people said that AoT "grips you and forces you to watch", so? That's all subjective.
+1 started watching after loads of people telling it was a masterpiece but it's just an average anime
