Fallen? No idea really. He is good individually, but the main carrying force (and the reason for the success) of the old SK/Luminosity was Coldzera with his smart plays. Fallen had good Cobblestone strats but alas as you can see Cobblestone is not in the map pool anymore.

In SK/LG prime FalleN was 2nd best player in the world and best IGL in the world also he leads his team to top 1 for 2 years in a row, making history being the first IGL major champion outside EUROPE, the fastest IGL to bring a line up from nothing to top 1, mading one of the best's line ups wich CSGO ever have, only Astralis have more time wich LG/SK in top 1. So yes Coldzera was a crucial part for their team success but the main reason was the core FalleN Fer and Cold, and those 3 had the same impact for the success. Everyone watched what happened when Fer get a break, and without FalleN, Cold and Fer would never reach their peak lvl, because if u do not know FalleN is the former mentor to Fer and later Coldzera become a pro. He's legendary bro, respect

Pronax was good tactical but poor individually player according ppl who actually watched him at the time, that's why IGL's like KarrigaN, FalleN becomed the best's IGL at the time, because they was not only tactical but strongers individually too (FalleN #2 and #6 top 20 2016-17)

It's a gamble to bring in FalleN. I don't think it's automatically a good or bad choice. There is definitely a world where liquid succeeds with him and a world where liquid slowly deteriorates to nothing with him.

I think this move will be better than people anticipate tbh. People may say both Fallen and Grim are downgrades over nitr0 and Twistzz individually but honestly both of them had to be replaced eventually if this team was ever gonna be striving for the top spots. Fair enough, Liquid with nitr0 and Twistzz made the finals many of the times and then who were they facing there? Astralis. And they always lost. Not the least because of Twistzz and nitr0 completely shitting the bed and going fully invisible on that matchup, after destroying all the other teams without any trouble. This move was inevitable. Unless they wanted to be the eternal 2nd. And even then their team would have stagnated enough to eventually fall from the top 10.

We don't know what happened inside the team. Twistzz is in interviews throughout 2019/20 saying he'll be one of the best support players in the world. He's clearly meant to be a star player so there's either something wrong with his mentality or within the team.
