Not pretty, but from what I understand that was a loss during the fiscal year not them being in a hole as such. Of course they better start making money or their capital will be lost and that would be the end, however that seems unlikely to be in the cards.

When you talk about "Selling a player" you typically don't talk about what the club in actuallity was payed but what the contract is worth I am well aware Astralis did not get that much money, neither did i say they did.

I guess it's force of habit. Whenever you speak of a football player you always say (Insert club) sold (Insert player) for x amount to (Insert club) Like how barcelona was "selling" messi to MC city for x amount of money and a few players.

i know how it works but buy out is still only buy out. the money that 1 org receive from another org for a player. worth of his contract in that new org is another thing but now we at least understand each other i guess:D btw from what i heard they sold him for 500k(not sure if its true tho)

They went public in 2020 and raised around €20 million doing so, on that alone they are not exactly poor. On top then comes winnings, sponsor money and merchandise - the sale of clothing alone has to bring a pretty penny. Also they have got to also to making money selling players, a business side they are clearly working to expand with their junior team project,. Astralis Group also has a LOL and a FIFA eSports team, but how they are doing is not something I know about.
