Who was the MVP of the tournment? I didn't see Device with it. Without glaive's brain activated, device choked once again in their most important game of that major. Lucky he was that Kjaerbye basically played 1v5 3 maps. Then Kjaerbye left Astralis to give Device a chance of being the MVP of a major, since he was getting rekt in the playoffs since 2014, always choking in semis.

In which way? If it's a GOAT vague discussion I'd put dev1ce first, Cold #2 and s1mple didn't win much yet so can't put him there. You could say the highest peak in terms of stats in 2018 but then again ZywOo's rating in playoffs smashed his in both 2019 and 2020.

superskilled players means they are way more skilled than normal skilled pros. i would say krimz,blamef,device are normal skilled players.
but players like s1mple,zywoo,niko,kennyS,twistzz etc are really more skilled than a players like krimz or glaive or blamef. but here players like kennyS or twistzz are not playing in their real level.
so how well each player play is what actually matters than skill.

I think both players are capable of getting Top 20 in 2021.
And the others had been at the top for 10+ years. f0rest for 11 (top level since 05), Neo very much the same (broke through in 03-04) and GTR for 10. And unlike device they have finished #1 - though primarily on other sites that made them before hltv started. Fragbite and GotFrag fx.
So yeah, a few more years and device could be in the discussion.

Still, a CS:GO only list while having GTR and f0rest at number 12 below Shox is incredibly controversial... Shox's peak even to this day was 2013, he hasn't come close to hitting the same level since, in my opinion.

this list is definitely not accurate.
Between forest and gtr, forest definitely had an incredible run even till 2019; so he could be ranked higher.
But in my view, shox has still been on better performing teams throughout. Even now, Vitality is #2 and before that G2 did ok in 2018/19.

Yeah I really like the fact that Shox is a vital part of this Vitality line-up. Newer, much younger Vitality fans are starting to see hints every now and again of just how good Shox was at CS:GO and still is.
It's the same for Rpk fans in that regard, not many others will realise just hood god Rpk was back in Source, but that was a REALLY long time ago.

if u have followed TSM and then Astralis, you will know how long dupreeh has been madfragging. He has been top 20 hltv for 7 years on a row. that is a long time in csgo years.

when you say "of all time", because cs is a franchise game , people often include 1.6, source and 1.5.
csgo has been around for a decade, so it's either "best of the decade" or "best in csgo".
if that's the argument, then the top 3 until now , should be coldzera, s1mple, device. Possible arguments can be made for olofmeister and Niko.
