No dude, hate speech is not allowed in Poland I assume. So if it brakes the law then the deleted comment or banned user does not have the right to claim anything from the platform.

there is a dilemma. social media says they arent responsible for individual posts on social media so they arent sued if they show a crime there. that was true til now. as long as they banned trump, the company says it can be responsible as a journal is responsible for a journalist post.

this reveals a discussion to change how social medias are regulated. if they control who publishes there, it will get the same regulation as a journal.
just to add some informations. first of all, i totally agree trump is responsible for superficial political polarization, multiples conspiracy theories and attacks on democracy, but that's not the discussion here.

1. No. Journals actively select content to collate, and to publish. They will pick things suitable and in line with the theme of the content they provide. Social media, on the other hand, allows anyone to post; it is functionally opposite to a publisher.
2. Those other leaders didn't violate the rules in the content they've posted, nor is Twitter a Middle Eastern/Venezuelan/Chinese business. It has no reason to take action.

i dont think i even need to discuss the 1st topic, its pretty much a fact. it's a discussion in multiple countries. social media cant control and arent responsible for posts or they can control and are responsible. it isn't fair not be responsible for posts there, but can select users. the main argument to not be responsible was the inability to control the userbase.

LUL mate dunno if you're baiting or just genuinely believe your words, but trust me, our govenment is constantly encouraging hate, is very far-right when it comes to worldviews (and we all know every extremism is bad, no matter if left or right), and they're REALLY fucking up the economy of Poland since a few years. Our money constantly loses value, they make the taxes higher and higher... It is not the worst government like in China for example, but it's pretty bad. I really don't like extremism and they are extremists. Extremists are always just childish and unable to make a dialogue, which is REALLY needed in every civillised country.

First of all PiS wasn't mostly for abortion ban, there was Konfederacja involved in it (Rightist Party that is mish-mash of ideologies).

PiS has majority of senat and they can push these law by them own. And if they were not pro abortion this law wouldn't be in existence.
Also it's Kaja Godek a member of PiS whom introduced this law, and when this law came in to life she was the only women in whole Poland which was happy about it.

Ah. How do you measure that? You know there's not one ideology that's superior to other. People have different views on how their country should be run. Poland is doing fine. As far as I know Polish students score higher in International Olympiads than those who live in Western Europe for example.

There we're maps by the elections basically analyzing it you can see that western poland is more open to equality and LGBT+ while eastern poland rather keeps its traditional values. Economicly its also similiar Poland A and B, Western and Eastern sectors aren't balanced and Poland B is less developed.

Good. Normally EU is quite eager to protect freedom of speech (luckily), I hope they will try to make an European law out of it, since it will put a lot of pressure unto those tech companies who are already being critized heavily by both the US and EU government.
