no it doesn't it's a 1.4v hdmi port and that can only get up to 120hz I believe

well, my monitor 240hz costs about 300 euros, its a samsung one, about the same as a good quality 144hz monitor

You may be better off waiting then. CES 2021 just happened so a lot of new monitors just got announced. The prices of the current monitors will drop a bit in a couple of months as the new lines roll out

if you buy one of these do make sure its a xl2411p, xl2411k or xl2411z. don't buy the xl2411t, it can only support 120hz through dvi

AOC G2590PX (or the cheaper G2590FX which is the same but without the USB hub and adjustable mount). Supports 144Hz both through DP and HDMI (on cheap GPUs it might only support 120Hz through HDMI though, but it's pretty much the same thing).
