While true, there's pros and cons like there is with every scenario. Here, we avoid the kicking because boosting, unless the person is actually cheating, which will be a nullified match anyway. But it does, as you say, turn the 4v5 scenario to a demoralizing experience. The other way around, we sadly can't get rid of the "kick because boosting" scenario, except for if we make kicking have consequences no matter what. And then, you're stuck with the trollers, throwers and cheaters, which further the migration away from anything that has to do with MM. Valve doesn't want that, btw. While not ideal, this is probably the go-to solution for Valve atm - however I do hope they come up with a tweak to it at some point.
