They’re not even hard to aim with. The only thing that makes it hard aiming in Overwatch is that there’s so many barriers and heroes flying everywhere, it’s much faster gameplay and you need more awareness in general. Aiming with the hitscan heroes in Overwatch is just point and click, the only hero where you need to control your spray a bit is soldier 76.

The reddit thread and Xqc are pretty much claiming these OW pros are better aimers than CS pros, but they can't even outaim t3~t4 CS pros in Valorant, sinatraa gets 70k in aimlab LOL

Both CS and Overwatch require different type of aiming and skill, so they aren't comparable. Tier 1 CS pro would get his ass beaten by t3-4 OW players on Overwatch and vice versa.
CSGO is more like Valorant, so CS players will have easier time.
Also Aimlabs scores don't always transfer to actual game. Look at someone like Corey who hits 130000+ scores on Aimlabs and you still call him bad.
and to add that I saw that post 4 months ago and I was trying to defend CSGO there, because that subreddit is as biased as HLTV.

While I'd agree that navi or vitality as a team would probably lose to a tier 3 overwatch team, I think s1mple and zywoo could easily 1v1 any tier 3 damage player with little to no practice, unless it was a support/tank only mirrior match.

The only similarity that CSGO and OW share is that they are FPS games. There's nothing to discuss, two completely different games. A professional OW player gives his opinion on CSGO is the same as Lawyer trying to cut someones hair. Thorough understanding of in-game depth is needed to give a constructive opinion on the game (IMO).

This debate comes up like every week. It’s literally incomparable since the aiming is different in each game. In csgo, crosshair placement is king, but overwatch emphasizes more quick flicks. However, support and tank mains like xqc don’t require any aim, which is why he sucks at any other game besides ow

It's hard to not agree with him, it's just straight up true. The facts are that in CS crosshair placement is MUCH more stale than in overwatch. But as a whole game in general, CS is much more complex than overwatch. Overwatch's complexity comes from chaos within the game, CS' complexity comes from tactical depth that overwatch doesn't have and will never have. Hard to compare both games, but in terms of aim overwatch is just straight up harder.

ppl need to understand the difference between mousecontrol and aiming
cs requires less mousecontrol, because low ttk, and the emphasis on good crosshair placement
ow requires more mousecontrol because high ttk, need for extreme tracking and wide angle flicking, etc.
but neither is "non-aim intensive" because the concept of aim encompasses many things besides mechanical ability, and the definition of aim varies between different games
