It is a very promising lineup, latto and dumau have always been treated like promises in BR, I think that at first they will not shine so much, maybe with 6months-1year they will start playing on equal terms with the top 20 teams

well the players all have great ratings against t3, they all speak the same language and at least a few of them know eachother personally probably there's a lot of factors that speak against sigining 5 randoms without connection from 5 different countries just because they kill it in pugs and fpl

+100000 These 5 are all brazilian, the three young boys are the hottest and most promissing in the BR/ tier 2 NA scene right now (if you doubt, just check their stats) and under TACO and felps command they could easily be competitive in the top tier in the next couple of months. Idk. Gen.G was rumoured signing the CXZI guy but they never did, after that its just quiet. And now BnTeT will leave Gen.G for Extremum. So its only Koosta and Autimatic currently is looking for EU and NA offers and he wants to be main AWPer. I think Gen.G will step away from CS after they sell/kick all of their players.

The viewers they get from having their previous team competing in events like "dreamhack masters" "blast premier" "flashpoint" etc gives them WAY more viewers than a new brazilian team playing some 25-50k online events will and you surely know that. Im not buying anything that has been responded to my original comment at all. An org makes money in many ways. Prize winnings. Its safe to say that the old teams prize winnings will have been much much stronger because of playing events with BIG prize pools. Sponsorships yes. Sponsors will be attracted to the high ranking teams as usual, if their playing iem katowice with 1 000 000 viewers and wear "steelseries" on their shoulders is worth alot to sponsors. Its pretty obvious this new lineup cannot compete with that.. Merch, I garantee that brazilian godsent merch will be about as popular as any other random midsized orges merch. I fail to understand how a semi popular national streamer will get godsent any money. Donations or whatever goes to him only. Yes he might be wearing a godsent jersey and some viewer might buy one for him or herself, but its not gonna change anything. If they needed money then keeping the lineup and milking it, or selling then cashing out makes sense. Not selling, get cash, buy new lineup, make smaller amount of money moving forward.

You are wrong tho. Price Pool is often splitted up between the Players, and the org only gets little to nothing from the price pool. Alot of Fans = alot of viewer = alot of follower. Means that they can get better sponsors and thats how they make most of their money.

25% is normal. 100 000dollars in a month with lets say 3 events of prize winnings wouldnt be out of the ordinary. Thats 25 000 dollars for the org. Not worth mentioning? It is. Imagine How much prize money the astralis org has gotten even if they get less than 25% wich I expect from a org of their size. Astralis has gotten almost 9,000,000m in prize money. Even if they only take 15-20% thats still alotalot of cash. It matters, dont say that it doesnt.

25% is NOT normal, it's mostly around 10% IF the Org gets something, sometimes they dont get anything at all. Yes, if you are talking about the top 3 most sucessfull teams, the low percentage is alot of Cash, ofc. But we arent talking about NaVi, Vitality, Astralis etc, we are talking about low Tier 1/Tier 2. Let's say they finish decent and get 15k per tournament because of their ok placement (which can be way less) and the org gets 1,5k. Thats not even the flight + hotel (ofc talking about lan tournaments since no org will build up a roster around the online era). Oh and btw: "Many esports teams make a majority of their revenue, approximately 90%, from sponsorships and advertising.
