so its pretty much confirmed that karrigan is going to faze at this point, but lets be fair this wont really fix anything. i wouldnt say karrigan is overrated but he isnt the solution to faze's problems. so i attempted to make a roster change that would make the team tier 1:
-olof +karrigan
pretty straight forward, olof is not good anymore and doesnt want to play in faze anymore besides, karrigan is much more valuable to the team.
-kjærbye +twistzz
kjærbye really isnt good they need to get that snake out of there asap. twistzz is good and wants to stay in europe. this guy will return to godhood once lan returns.
-rain +some young player/awper
they really need to get rid of rain, he has been the main reason the team has been shit for 2 years now. you cant win when you play 4v5 at the start of the round all the time. get a young hungry player that can be aggressive and can actually kill someone. they could also pickup degster, but idk how he will fare in terms of communication and team play.

idk rain is really good as entry, so i would say they should just do -kjaerbye and -olof for karrigan and twistzz, and see if it works out, and maybe pick up a 6th man instead of removing rain.

he's a good meatshield and probably a nice teammate but that doesnt cut it anymore he has one of the lowest success rates in terms of opening kills and its only getting worse and worse

I think if karrigan can get Rain more confident you wouldn't need to replace him. Let's see what Karrigan can do with the pieces Faze have when he joins and then allow them to fix.

maybe but he probably wont. rain is way past his prime and cant keep up anymore. he is super inconsistent too but nowadays he rarely has good games so i guess he is getting more consistent

i mean, im just throwing out ideas on how faze can make a team that can actually compete with the likes of astralis and navi. they are probably just gonna get karrigan for olof and stop at that anyways

Never know, twistz has already said multiple times very soon his announcement is going to happen roughly a week. Faze are playing a tournament in 9/10 days. Could be possible they bought Twistzz and are loaning karrigan until his contract expires with Mouse.

He says it all the time on his stream when people ask when he is joining a team, he says you will find out very soon. I mean with mousesports rumours of AcoR and Dexter, what other team could Twistzz join? It has to be Faze unless he's joining up with Flusha, Auti and Sunny.

i personally have always seen niko as the most valuable player on that team, i dont really know why faze fans hated him i guess because he was the only one pulling his weight in the team and even decided to become an igl because nobody else wanted too. but i bet faze fans regret hating on him now

For sure, he was the only one who took initiative when things went downhill. Maybe some decisions did not end as expected, but he still wanted Faze to keep breathing

Karrigan is a massive improvement that is available for free anyway. Only one other IGL I can think of could be even better and he is stuck in a prison for at least another year and I don't think he enjoys the respect of many tier 1 players anyway.

i thought they were getting him now in january? thats atleast what cold wanted. i guess if they want him for free they will have to wait to march. but thats a pretty long time away when you think about it

1. respect rain — he will be a beast when Karrigan puts him in a more suited position
2. they should get ropz; more firepower than twistzz and I don't think the conflict with Cold will be that great, such that it would negatively affect the T-sides.

1. how do you know that? i agree that rain is bad at entry fragging and will be better in a refragger/baiting spot, but wouldnt it be better to get a young player that karrigan can mold into one of the best players in the world and put rain as a 6th man player instead?
2. i mean thats a dream scenario, the chance of them getting ropz is very low, so i think bringing in twistzz would be super good overall

1. i still believe in rain. i think karrigan should hold onto him and if he doesn't perform then you can throw in a younger play. karrigan already has the task of molding broky.

Ever heard of Site anchors, or entry fraggers. Rain was the one who was thrown around in different roles everytime new player joined FaZe. He showed what he can do if given good position against Chokos first match against them in d2.

No. Kaerbayer proved himself as solid performed his journey in faze clan. Twistzz on the other hand dropped significantly and would be a high risk resource. I would say +twistzz as 6 man to switch roles with rain
