If you scroll and see the 'Featured Ratings' section you can see he actually did play 20 maps or something vs. Top 5 teams. The filter you used is when the players team was Top 5, not AGAINST Top 5 opponents.

Ever? Who cares. 2020? Brehze and jks shouldn't have been in top 20. EliGE and BlameF in top 10 also seems odd.

And Liquid sucked for most of 2020. He's ahead of dupreeh, syrson, magisk and stavn, for example. Every single one of those players actually won something relevant this year. Liquid only won EPL S11 back in April. By season 12 they were the 4th best team in NA. Overall their best result was in the last event of the year, the IEM global challenge, where they had proper opponents and managed to finish second. Apart from that, their year was pretty much complete garbage and EliGE didn't stand out that well either. Maybe he bounces back in 2021, but older merits don't count for 2020 either. Only 2020 merits.

Yup, Liquid sucked a lot, it's a lot harder to be a Liquid fan. But we will bounce back, much harder...

dude remember top 20 is about individual statistics, it doesn't matters if your team sucked or you didn't win much of the tournaments

Well, they kinda goes hand in hand, if your team loses you probably don't have extremely great stats either. Also, EliGE played mostly against NA teams, which were basically half T2 or lower. In events with EU teams his ratings were bit worse. I think worst was Blast Spring 2020 with 1.06. If you look at Top5/Top10/Top20 filters you can see other names at the top. Against top 5 HEN1 has 1.18, then there's also names like Nivera, oBo, yuriih, Brollan, kscerato ahead of EliGE.
