Luckiest win ever?
 |
Russia NorthRussian
What is the most lucky win in csgo history.I mean, winner of this is undeserved, won by catching so many timings, lucky shots, random smoke kills etc.? For me its FaZe vs C9 Boston (Yes flair checks out). So many lucky moments on Inferno, like perfect mag-7's spread while jumping by tarik on 14-9,Tarik's lucky flick & spray on GuardiaN,AWP without inaccuracy in Stewie2K arms at 15-14,lost clutch by olof only because of timing. C9 deserved win only in 2nd OT when FaZe started doing weird things, but they reached 2 OT mostly by luck. What is the most lucky win in your opinion, dear HLTV users?

ence vs navi mirage (map 3) semifinals katowice 2019, i think navi deserved it more, but ence also played well so it wasnt totally undeserved

Simple was clutching the best he could but 1 mistake that cost him the match: he can't hit the shots on x7.

well i mean there was a direct correlation between aug nerf and ence beginning to tank

Even though ur flair checked out I still partly agree, it was an extremely close match up

i mean yeah that's why i said that match, watching in from a Navi fan point of view was really rough, kinda like watching faze throwing the major final in boston, kinda.
2021-01-20 07:21
Yes, and NaVi would have actually have a chance vs Astralis in the final. ENCE biggest fluke ever....

1 tournament when Cloud 9 actually were godlike and not being bad like they did before the major and after
2021-01-18 16:36
1 reply
yeah they were a dark horse to win and were a top team at the time, just not a favorite to win. they just happened to peak at the right time. imo the best tourney run in csgo for going 0-2 in groups to winning it all, against the best teams
2021-01-20 04:30
ENCE reached the major final

Luminosity vs Liquid 2016 MLG Columbus , Mirage, that iconic coldzera jumping double, game was basically over, if wasn't for that, liquid wouldn't be so shocked and probably would be able to close the map and the series on cache.

2021-01-20 11:06
VS. NaVi? It'd make more sense if it was Liquid + NaVi choked a 11-4 CT even after some individual plays and got battered on OVP

How many times do I have to explain this, Cloud9 were top 5 at the time, it’s like a team the equivalent of OG or BiG beating Vitality. That isn’t a fluke they were legitimately good. By the way have you even watched the game? C9 took them to series point in the first OT then karrigan managed to win a 1 v1 against stewie and keep them in the game.

Your telling me it was luck to have Ska performing way better then he ever did before and not being passive, stewie in great form, Rush being way better than he ever was before or since, same with Tarik and Autimatic just seeming to have mechanical skill he hasnt really shown very often since and all of that at once.
