I figured that out when I started playing the game. On silvers there were a lot of these guys and I took their trick against them. When I got to global I didn't see no one but me using such guns as XM or Krieg/AUG.

Considering the entire world was using the krieg is kind of cuts both ways. Notable players would be Elige, Magisk, Electronic, Brehze, Ethan, Device, Brollan etc etc Liquid made it look good because it helped the fact the team had no AWP compete against teams with top 3 players on the AWP. It's not that they're bad AK players it's just a meta difference. I don't know why a bunch of CS fans can't figure that one out. The reality is that the AUG in it's 667 RPM mode had a way bigger impact on Pro CS. The M4 went out of the meta almost entirely. But recency bias and all that.

This is a take that ignores numbers and history. They fell off after the 2019 player break. The Krieg got nerfed when they were land locked in NA. Elige's numbers weren't any worse in the secon half of the year. They were back to making finals in Europe after two tournaments losing to Astralis basically looking the same they always have in 2020. Literally wrong about everything.

Ok well following that train of thought Elige wouldn't be getting EVPs and TL wouldn't be making finals runs in December 2020 in Europe. Anyway. Stupid argument. If you can't figure out that CSGO is a much easier game with a dominant AWP and the krieg's main driving force was neutralizing that advantage you simply don't understand the game very well.
