75hz will always feel choppy regardless of FPS

it's better to have a 240 hz monitor with 180/200 fps
than a 75hz monitor with 400 fps :o

1. don't use vsync
2. buy 144hz monitor

its normal, its start to feel choppy with 200fps on 144hz too, dont put vsync or other shit sync, u just need to buy i5 10600k with good RAM for 300 fps+ , gpu is not important, just buy 1060 for 80dollars, and buy 144hz plz or delete, cs go is not assasins creed, respect this game with decend config

What do you mean by choppy? If it is screen tearing, it is normal to happen cause your are playing at a larger fps than your monitor's refresh rate.
It does not show much when the fps is too high like 250+ or whatever, but the closest it gets to your refresh rate, lets say, from 80 fps to 150 (just an example), it will show a lot of screen tearing.
To eliminate that you either use vsync (which is no good for competitive fps games), or change monitors to a higher refresh rate one, or just buy a better pc to get fps around 300 so you dont feel the tearing even at a low refresh rate monitor

u need two times more fps than ur hz
2021-01-19 19:34
Theres no FPS problem just your monitor is trash (sorry) just save money and buy 144 hz

cap your fps at 200 and see if it gets better. i don't know why or how, but sometimes this happens to me (also 75hz mon) and capping works, most of the times..
it's kinda random for me.. i don't understand why, but on one day i open the game and it is smooth as a silk and on the other is just 'edgy' and 'stuttery'

It's because of your frame times. Frames per second don't line up with your monitors set refresh rate. The more fps you have, the better the frames can align with your monitors refresh rate, and the smoother it feels. That's why with v-sync it feels consistently smooth (granted you have 75fps+), but there's a fat delay with that. And that's also why with fps far beyond your refresh rate, it can still feel better than it being capped at your refresh rate

more fps makes the mouse smoother

As I feel, its not about HZ at all. I remember when I had 60 fps with 60hz, when I had 120 fps with 60hz and when I had 200 fps with a 60hz and there is a big difference, I feel it.
