Game is slow paced and has very meditative gameplay. If you like an quick action games, like CoD, Doom, GTA, etc - you may be dislike this game. For me, RDR2 is the best game of the decade, because of: 1. Amazing story 2. Amazing well-written characters with their motivation, background, personality, etc. 3. Amazing open world with side quests and big bunch of activities. 4. Amazing graphics and animation. 5. Amazing Western music. I overall like this western setting since my childhood. 6. Amazing physics. 7. Great A.I. of NPCs, animals, etc. 8. Crazy, mind-blowing and literally maniacal attention to even the smallest details.

The game is good. But it can get boring

It's true that the game can be hella slow at times, but the story is great and it looks superb. Also there is something so satisfying about firing a revolver from the hip in a western setting. And the attention to detail is on a whole new level.

I like it but the Wild West there is a complete fantasy and has nothing to do with real history. Black people are treated as equals, no conflicts with Native Americans, etc.

If u are brainless and only like to play action shooter games, don't buy. RDR2 is a masterpiece. One of best main characters and awesome missions and secondaries.

I bought it, took me some hours to get fully into it but when the game finally grabs you by the balls you wont stop playing until you reach the end. The game is beautiful, story wise is appealing, the whole world feels alive and theres so many side quests and random events that just happen on the fly, theres alot of customization for every weapon, the game always managed to lace up loose ends (for example: you help someone with a snake bite and later down the game, that person says you can buy anything of a store at his expenses), you actually get to spend time with every character so you care for them whenever they die/leave the gang, etc

I just started playing the game 2-3 weeks ago. I have over 30 hours in and I'm still not even half way done. As of chapter 3, story is really picking up and SOOOOO good. A bit slow at the beginning as you learn a lot of the mechanics, but definitely worth sticking around for. TLDR: Long game, amazing story, one of the easiest game purchases of my life. Yes buy it.

I've played 2 hours, not that bad, but i think this game for guys who have xboxs and they drink bear sleeping on a couch. So i dont play it anymore.

Singleplayer > Absolutely, its a great game, great visuals, great storyline. Online > Absolute shitfest, grinding is aweful, gamemodes suck, no "heists" as in GTAO.. Like you can't even rob a train or a bank in online. Supposed to be an outlaw, but there is barely anything to do. Everything is locked behind ranks, other roles (which you need to buy with Goldbars most of the time and they nerfed getting GB in online, so you have to grind or buy them). Basically online is just a grindfest, if you like that than go for it, if not just skip it. I played it for a while during the first lockdown and just grinded to get everything, now i got everything and basically came to the conclusion i cannot do shit with the money and gold i have unless Cockstar releases new content or new roles. Got my friends into it when they did the 5$ sale, we had some fun but none of us play anymore at least until a decent update comes around.
