yes that is what I was thinking, but trust me before texting here I scrolled through a lot of forums, and unfortunately have not found out any solved situation, people said that not every adapter works and those that do are very very expensive.

hdmi 2.0 or better cable (sometimes these laptops don't get >60 hz capability though)

yes I have 2.0 hdmi but I have read that a lot of 144Hz montiros do not support 144hz with HDMI cable. Only with the other 2.

No, man. Give it up. I had similar issue and I haven't find any way to solve the problem. No Display port - no more than 60 hz. Deal with it.

The monitor does not support 144Hz through HDMi. Only DVI and Displayport.

This one does not. It is limited to 60hz. Only when I connect to my old pc through DVI it works for 144.

HDMI to DVI I guess :/

Buy a monitor that supports hdmi. There are a lot of them, like acer, LG, Phillips, etc. They will surely work with the full 144hz since you have 2.0

Thank you but it is not only about HZ but the screen is too small. Guess I will have to play with 60 Hz, not gonna be pro player anyway :-P. Ty for the tip tho

Hdmi 2.0 supports 144 Hz, just get a monitor that has such a port.

While I was looking for a new monitor I found that some people was complaining that some with freesync/g-sync don't sync correct if you use HDMI, even if the HDMI is capable, don't know why, with DP problem is solved in all of them. Btw, try with a normal monitor/tv, if you can share the image there, you should be able to do it with a 144hz as long as your graphic card is able to do it.
