Guys I have a dilema, due to my job I travel quite a bit so I have a gaming laptop, the laptop has 2.0 hdmi port and usb-c. Is there any way to connect 144hz monitor that it actually will work ? Has any of u had similar problem and find some life hack ?
Thank u for info.
yes that is what I was thinking, but trust me before texting here I scrolled through a lot of forums, and unfortunately have not found out any solved situation, people said that not every adapter works and those that do are very very expensive.
you could replace the screen in your laptop, I did it and i sold the old 60hz screen, cost me about 30 pounds if i minus the cost of old screen :) hope this helps
Thank you but it is not only about HZ but the screen is too small. Guess I will have to play with 60 Hz, not gonna be pro player anyway :-P. Ty for the tip tho
While I was looking for a new monitor I found that some people was complaining that some with freesync/g-sync don't sync correct if you use HDMI, even if the HDMI is capable, don't know why, with DP problem is solved in all of them.
Btw, try with a normal monitor/tv, if you can share the image there, you should be able to do it with a 144hz as long as your graphic card is able to do it.
