They have the same number of major wins and LAN trophies. Snax has more MVPs and top 20 placements (Stewie doesn't have any top 20 placements), but right now Stewie is on a top team and Snax is wasting away on some Tier 3 roster.
For the record, I don't even think that the two are that similar in terms of play style.

But they have the same number of major wins and LAN trophies... How can you say that one is WAYYYY MORE successful when they've won the same number of trophies? Plus I would argue that it's harder to win trophies now than it was back then because more people are playing and more talent has been discovered.
I don't think that Stewie2k is the best player but you're really undervaluing him. Trophies don't lie.

hes a player, who jumped on good teams. why do you think he was never in top 20? snax has achieved by far more mvps than him. winning trophies back then was harder because you had fnatic, astralis(tsm/?), envy,navi, cloud9. nowadays its just astralis, navi, vitality, liquid and its just astralis winning everything

are you fucking STUPID? stewie wasnt even the BEST player when he joined. it has ALWAYS been autimatic, shroud and skadoodle. if you look at boston 2018, look at the 3 best players in the major finals, infact look at the 3 best players on c9 in the major. tarik, ska, autimatic. stewie has ALWAYS been on good teams, mibr was a good team, they made semis of a major, one a tournament and then he joined liquid which was successful before he came

I mean Nitro was instrumental to arguably the most successful NA lineup in history, vanity was an awp igl that had huge potential, and leaf was one of the best young talents in the scene

-> Vanity leaves = Chaos still arent getting a team either way
-> Leaf leaves (???) = Plenty of NA youngsters, just a lack of teams to find them
None of them leaving affects anything in the grand scheme of things, NA scene would pan out in the exact same way as would the overall scene. Individually they didn't matter too much. But the overall movement of players may be more consequential.
