FaZe: 99% roster
Venezuela Jorge_
Acording to Cold's interview their REAL goal is to have an IGL*and* a 6 man roster. So it would 99% look like this: coldzera karrigan broky rain/Shakerbye Twistzz I support an experiment like this with a bunch of experienced players (Vitality's 6man roster is a different concept), could change CS forever.

I'm sure godJ can find a better home. It's his decision to leave to mousesports, but that was senseless since they had no serious issues. Twistzz is just another washed up star like Shakebye was.

I think sunny could be decent rifler once he gets rid off the IGL role and flusha is one of the smartest players out there. He can win rounds with his brains and I think every team need at least 2 smart players like flusha.

Yep, thats true but what I've seen in his teams is that he always had some1 else calling. I guess he was IGL in c9 for a short period of time and iirc I think he didnt have so much impact and the team didnt succeed. Also the playstyle of modern CS is kinda where IGLs are getting first kills and info and I see flusha as a supportive player with clutching abilities. Just my thoughts, not going to say I'm right or anything.

top 10 player at age 19 and 20 btw and you look at a year full of online events with a struggling team and call him “the problem” lol twistzz will be top 10 again by end of year mark my words

If he was that good in 2019, then tell me how he could fuck up the year at even more easier conditions than he had before? Almost the whole year he played in NA online events and even there he was worse than a year before. And now you bring that fucked up player and want him to be good in EU? Liquid just picked time when Astralis didn't play, so they had better results, which led him to #9, what still made him a worse player than NAF, Brehze & EliGE, my thought here is that don't be that cocky about this top 10 appearance, because the bear was hibernating. In this year he wasn't even picked as honorable mention, which was literally easiest of all he had, but he couldn't do anything more than playing as a passive low-impactful player. I will be glad if he can comeback, but only my issue against him is that everyone is hyping him for literally nothing. I'll give you the same example as they probably want to replace with him, Kjaerbye. Guy had the same good stats on team of the same level below, and then just moved to FaZe. You can say he already destroyed himself when he moved to North, yeah, that was a long time investment of his fuck up, but he was still playing good meanwhile losing his competitive scores as he started playing against easier teams, which are still harder than Twistzz have seen in his NA for this year. Honestly, this performance makes me seeing his future as very shaky, I would never leave that comment if he was playing as a year ago, but he is still overhyped for nothing, he's not that good now as he was. I wish good luck to him to come back though, boy is still young.
2021-01-22 20:22

and 2018? he faced astralis contantly and made top 12. in 2019 astralis played ibp, cologne and epl 9 where liquid won all of them. they also beat ence multiple times who beat astralis. after the major the whole liquid team started slumping, not just twistzz. and youre not supposed to be better than elige and brehze when theyre star players and youre on support. also his highlights just show what hes capable of like the 1v4 against mibr. that doesnt just happen as a fluke. 2020, he played good against NA teams except furia where all of liquid underperformed. its only since they moved to EU where he started playing bad, and even then he top fragged against astralis twice and furia. if you dont think twistzz can be a top 10 player this year you are delusional

I didn't say anything about that, but thinking that he can become top 10 player in his current condition is hilarious. You probably don't know, but EliGE & NAF were playing better roles because they were just, better? Failing star role is leading you to the level below. His past you know was good, it's fact, I can't change the time to join Liquid's staff and bench him to deny it earlier, but it was past. Now is now. Twistzz is not that good. With all my bias against him, which is although reasonable, I wish him all the best. Will become top 10? Good, I will be glad. Won't become? Well, his issues, still a young boy that can be capable if he will try to be better again. You know, only one thing I want to say is that I don't get all this hype around him, like he will join FaZe and they will become better, everyone must understand that he is still a controversial choice. I see him as a new Shakebye as their situations are very similar, but for a different amount of time. I will appreciate if he can prove me wrong, all the best to that young lad even though I don't really like him.

Karrigan didn’t work out because of Niko, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard both Olof and guardian say that they underrated him, didn’t give him the trust respect they should have I think it’s fair to give him another shot. People won't appreciate Karrigan until he's gone. I'm probably pushing even you (along with everyone else on this forum) with this statement but I kind of think he's the best IGL in the world including Glaive. Reason being he's had a ton of success on two international rosters as well as what he did domestically. I realize there is no major on the resume but this is the guy you get if you want to put money in an international project. Glaive just to preempt you is a great IGL but I've only ever seen him do it on one team and that's been with the best coach to ever touch the game. That's not a problem necessarily either it's just what it is.
2021-01-22 11:07

Well, he definitely was one of the greatest IGLs a year before. But right now despite his IGL skills his individual level is so bad for tier 1-2, that he is not worth it. He could be a great coach though. And get real, mousesports will become better after he leaves.

They should build this team around Twistzz. Dude had a heavy fall off but his potential is literally Niko levels. He's never been in a system tailored around him and he's just 21. I imagine Karrigan knows this. Put Twistzz right behind Rain on an entry pack and give him the positions he wants on CT side. It's almost too easy. If Broky keeps up his development I think Faze becomes scary again overnight.

I do think that with Karrigan both Broky and Twistzz can hit their highest form yet.
2021-01-22 10:54
idk bout that chief. NiKo levels with EU competition is not the same as NiKo level in NA. Karrigan could revitalize his career and I trust him, but we'll have to see how high is his ceiling... if he even takes off again of course.
2021-01-22 11:10
2 replies
There's always a chance he doesn't take off again. His age makes me think however that he'll bounce back pretty quickly. That and the fact he's been playing on 70 ping from Canada for the last year. Had to of been pretty demotivating for a player best known for a near 70% HS ratio. But Twistzz mechanics I think are right up there with the best in the world up to and including Niko in NA, EU or otherwise. That's just my opinion but I don't think it's that controversial. Now he's never had impact like his fellow teammates on Liquid but he was never the guy that was set up to eat multi-kills. That's always been Elige. All I'm saying is I'd be excited to see what he can do when he is the featured player. To your point I think his ceiling if unlocked is incredibly high.

Karrigan washed as fuck. No solid AWP, i like Twistz though he's solid, perhaps deserves better.

I still think he would have made the most sense as a replacement for Issa in OG. Him and Valde could kind of reach their potential together. OG's already a solid team it would have been one of those moves that kind of gives them the ability to hit a higher gear. I'm not surprised to hear however that Faze is the one that ends up signing this guy. One part of this I'm sure is branding. Faze is a very NA centric org and a player like Twistzz and Cold combined with the European core gives them a lot of branding opportunities.

I agree with the above.

No dude I'm talking about Twistzz in isolation not saying OG should sign Karrigan.

No problem brother. It's a topic about Faze so my statement doesn't even really belong here. I just always had a feeling Twistzz would end up on Faze. Ever since he made the announcement though I thought he'd be a perfect fit to take OG up a level. One of those moves that makes so much sense it'll never happen.

well it made sense either on Faze on OG tbh because these are the 2 top teams which with right players can fight for the tournament wins
2021-01-22 11:24
broky is a top 30 player, that means he's at the very least a top 10 awp player, wdym he is nor "solid"

he is, yes. He is because he was officially close to make top 20 THIS year. so he must be top 30 at least. By that logic he must be a top 10 awp

swapping rain out is and absolute no. FaZe=rain. No rain no FaZe. Also karrigan's individual level is what worries me the most. He'll do an excelent coach in the future though. Kjaerbye has been ranking top 3, 2 and 1 on each map's leaderboard consistently in the current roster. I don't get why people give him so much hate, he's recovering from a long absence and he's getting better each day.

It's about being the entry, man. They can both rotate in the entry role. Or maybe Twistzz/Shakerby.

not about replacing, it's about rotating the entry in a 6 man roster.

mmmmmmmmmmmm idk I don't see it working at all tbh
2021-01-22 13:57
People talk about Twistzz like he should be retiring or something but the guy is just 21, he had an amazing aim a couple years ago and the Liquid downfall was for all of them I mean, Elige or NAF wasn't performing at same level that when they had their good run beating Astralis, so I don't know why all this hate. His haircut looks retarded but more than that, it's ok if he has a waifu pillow as long as he hit the shots.

karrigan+cold that team would b toxic asl good fit tho lol

I think I am the only one hoping Karrigan can revitalize Kjerbye lol
2021-01-22 15:32
hey! i've seen this one! faze has proven before filling a team with star talent doesn't work, but maybe without niko's ego getting in the way it could be different

I think that they have to call BlameF and Konfig. (IDK maybe its impossible) BlameF IGL Konfig niko role broky awp rain entry cold support clutch like xyp9x in Astralis

I would be a dream team, but it's impossible. blameF is the kind of IGL that would fit perfectly with this team dynamic, but is bonded too strongly with complexity.
2021-01-22 20:09
First things first. Faze needs a proper structure, thing has always been lacking. A proper coach, not like Robban, who's always as a manager. Not like YnK, who's just a enabler for Niko. The team needs a guy outside who can help karrigan. A psychologist, is essential. No doubt some guys have been suffering from burnout. But all Faze's been doing is spending money to keep a useless gimmick up. That been said, these two professionals along with Finn, should sit with rain. At Ynk interview, he said he has had problems with a player work etic, that clearly must be rain. I don't know if the wedding changed something, but this has to be his last chance. When his game was up, Faze were unstoppable. His lack of consistency was key to the fall of Faze. If this project with karrigan is going to work they need figure out whatever the problem is. Karrigan Cold Broky Rain Twistzz Is a good line-up. They will need structure and a bit of time
