+1 but they need to fix forklift on cache i hate that angle it's extremely annoying to play either side, and FMPone saying he's keeping it cause it's historic isn't a proper reason.

The bars in the middle don't need to be there, the seat is also weirdly jutting out from an otherwise flat angle, and it's entirely slightly slanted to stick to it's 'forklift' aesthetic. Angle design is very important in csgo, and I would strongly prefer simplicity over unnecessary additional details. Two stacked boxes would be a lot more intuitive and fun to peek around.

I'm not saying it's not level (it's balanced for sure), but that doesn't make it a fun angle to play. A lot of angles are redone, recent examples are many of the B site angles on vertigo, not because they aren't balanced, but because they don't feel good or feel right to play.

Just because the angle is unfun/unintuitive and doesn't feel right doesn't mean it's so unimportant that you can completely neglect it. You're really missing the point here, if an angle exists in the map (especially an important one like forklift), it should be fun and intuitive.
The angles on vertigo (the easiest example) were readjusted countless times to make them a pleasant experience, not because of how important they were, but because if the angle exists it should be smooth and pleasant. Valve does this with all their maps, an older example is overpass, which had MANY angles redesigned back in the early stages.

The terrorists only realistically have one route to rotate between the sites making fakes not nearly as interesting as in other maps. It's like Mirage without underpass or Dust2 without lower tunnels. It's missing a bit.
This makes the games on it dull and feel very similar to each other. The variation is not as great as on other maps.

Yes but to be fair it does allow a lot of options with executes. There's a lot of things you can do and its not just like dust 2 where there's only 2 main entrances for the bombsites. I think adding a quick rotate would make T side completely overpowered

Yeah, I agree, you couldn't add another T rotate to the map. That's not what I'm asking for though, I'm not saying the CT's have an advantage currently. In fact, I think it's quite balanced. I'm simply saying that due to the choices made in creating the layout, the map is not nearly as interesting from a strategical standpoint, than many other maps in the pool. Due to this I (and many others) find playing and watching it quite dull.

Firstly, your criticism of Cache from a strategic standpoint is very much undercut by your love of Mirage.
Secondly, the real problem is that the players and the community reject any sort of layout (and therefore strategic) innovation. Think about the last two maps that Valve have designed themselves. They went from Canals in which they (unsuccessfully) tried to break the mould, to Ancient - a map which takes absolutely no risks with its layout.

I don't like Mirage that much either. My favourites are Nuke, Train and Vertigo.
I'm just saying that playing on Cache feels really dull as there isn't as much variation as there is on other maps. Every round and every game feels just like more of the same.
I used Mirage and Dust II as examples because they're the closest to Cache as they all sport the same 4-leaf-clover type design to their layouts. Not because I think they're the best maps imaginable. Just better than Cache.

Yeah sure, mid is important. I'm not saying it's a bad map or not balanced or anything like that. I'm merely saying that I find it to be the most uninteresting map to play and spectate.

overpass - routes are all over the place, it's fun to watch an ovp match but playing it is a horrible experience
agency - office wannabe, too open
mirage - is that really a question? disguting map
train - the NA dust2
dust2 - makes me wanna puke, just mid doors are a huge turnoff
cache - was trash before the rework, is more trash now
playing dd2 since 2003, feeling great

S+ Overpass : rotation scenarios, execute, map dominance. It's definitely a tough but comprehensive
S Train, Inferno, Mirage: Classic enjoyable to play and watch maps
A Dust2, Nuke: Classic Kings but it is unappealing to watch and play twice in a day
B Vertigo, New Cache: If you're on your bad day, these are torture
Worst: Anubis, Agents and other newbies. these are shit doesn't even deserve more comments
