+1, I felt it was a bit overhyped when I watched season 1 back then because at the first time watching it seems like a very classical shonen with the hero trying to kill the titans (and some "revelations" of season 1 are not really a surprise), but then with the second and mostly the third season, this show became something else. The second part of season 3 is just insane, and the season 4 that just started delivers insane content too (even if some cgi titans make fights look a bit less dyamic)
The manga is way better in my opinion.

Naruto might be Shounen but it is more teen than kids.
Naruto has some of the best lore in anime history, not many anime live up to or match the story Naruto puts out.

I genuinely find Naruto exciting. If it wasn't for the shonen formula, the fillers and the sheer length of the show, I would certainly rate it pretty high

Naruto was my favorite anime before i started watching other good animes, btw when i started watching it i was a kid so for me now its just nostalgic there are plenty animes that dont have so many episodes as naruto but they are well developed, but atm naruto is in my top 10 or 20 list idk xD,

All depends on what genre you truly enjoy the most, from there you can get some animes which will really get your emotions going and you can become engrossed in it.
