I'm pleasantly surprised with how well he's integrating into the team. As you say, they could totally win absolutely nothing, but I think early signs are good that he's a positive addition in the wake of Twistzz departure.
i don't think winning tournaments is the big fish nowadays, they make more money with merch and streams nowadays
Very good start. Bit of a resurrection for NA and SA if it continues.
He was doing fine in the MIBR days, even tho the team wasnt working. I always knew that it would be a good move, idk why NA and EU was acting as if it was a terrible decision
I only watched their NaVi game and it was a pretty good one
fallen is surelly not as strong as s1mple and zywoo right now, but his maturity is just great, he knows how to play safe and still be relevant, he doest do crazy jumping around, he waits for teamates and utility, and even baited himself on a 2v1 to win the round, Naf and grim are playing really well also
reliable awper right. nap or stew not worth
I think it was the best possible pick for them.
With the amount of firepower they have, all he has to do is be consistent with his AWP. On the game side, they can be top 3 easily.
But Liquid is maybe the least "psychologically strong" team and can choke big time. Looking at FalleN, he has charisma, knows what to say, did legendary comebacks in majors in the past and that is I think more valuable than his AWP.
Anyway, let's hope they get good so that we can have a stacked top 10 with loads of surprises!
One good performance against a washed up EG and people think hes good lol.
Liquid just getting lucky matchups. They are gonna get smacked by any decent tier 1 team in every tournament.
At first I thought it was such a stupid move, but actually it's really good.
Takes IGL and main awp away at the same time.
+ NAF has been shitting on people in the last couple series
prime fallen is top awp ever touch game
Liquid will be TOP3 when LAN's are back.
So far I see nothing but good things out of this new Liquid lineup.
They look was happier as a team. NAF wasn't a bad AWP but Fallen clearly knows what angles are best to hold when you compare the two. NAF is now freed up to rifle and it looks like he's brought 2018 back. Grim looks to have more confidence rubbing shoulders with a legend. Elige had one bad game but otherwise is still Elige.
Like if you are a TL fan there's been a lot to take positive from this tournament even if they go out today. I think out of all those things I listed the fact the team doesn't look like they've come off a therapy session each time the camera pans to one of them is probably the biggest difference.
Some NA tournaments I think they probably gonna win, but I want to see if they can will something like this Blast in the future
