sAw, the Portuguese CS:GO promise, has been a little mysterious on Twitter lately, their players and staff had black canvas as headers and profile pictures for days and the whole Portuguese community went on alert mode. We think a rebranding is taking place. sAw has been a surprise on the Portuguese scene, they currently hold the #23 spot at HLTV's rankings. Their plan was to support the brand with the help of a few sponsors, wich they just lost because of it not meeting their agreed conditions. So now they are probably looking for a buyout or sponsors again.

didn't know it's probably because of covid, a tons of teams are losing their sponsors I mean, there's no other explanation, they have reached the higher level than a portuguese team ever dream

i think they have been in a few t1/2 tournaments where they did ok-ish in and that has kept them in the top30 for a long time since

Two T2(A tier) tournaments. Qualified through Iberia Quals, which is free spot. They did fluke their way to a victory over a weak Vitality, and got 2nd place in a tournament with 1 good team. Betway/Lootbet is 4x more stacked. It's mostly just free points from Dreamhack.

I'm done entertaining you too. Other teams doesn't matter, I talked about sAw. They are easily Top 50, I agree on that. But not #23. Chaos won a 2 tournaments recently. Cloud9 won against top tier teams and placed 3-4 in a tournament that was stacked. Mad lions attended plenty of tier A - S tournaments in 2020. Dignitas and TeamOne is the same as sAw, but lets face it, they would probably win against sAw.

sAw won against Vitality on Blast sAw lost 14-16 to Ence on Blast sAw won Nuke against FaZe on DH sAw lost to VP with all close maps on DH What are you on about? Go watch golf if you cant take the csgo scene ... Take off that flag, you for sure don't represent it ...

They were top 40 at both of those events playing against tier 1 wtf do you expect you genius? Maybe think of the fact they were top 40 and were still able to qualify for a tier 1 event.

On DH December they had an easy path to qualify but then they finished 2nd losing the final after being 2 rounds away to taking it to a 5th map against top 10, what more did you want from top 23? On Iberian qualifier for Blast they demolished top 28, winning 3-0, what more did you want from top 77 at the time? sAw have consistently performed above their rank for an entire year and you say they don't deserve top 23? You haven't been paying attention.

I don't want anything from Top 50 team. Just look at the competition in DH December. They played against Forze and Nemiga. Both are teams that are losing to riffraff in Lootbet/Betway cups. Do they deserve #23 for beating(and losing) top rank 30ish? Of course not. Point is, there shouldn't have been a Iberian qualifier. We would have Icelandic teams in Top 30 if we had Icelandic qualifiers to big events.

Saw is an org like any other, a small one but it is an org... Saw had Bet7 as their main sponsor but they didn't fullfil the agreement and then Saw cancelled the contract... This can be either a buyout from an org or new sponsors... Stadodo said yesterday that it will announced half way through next week.

It will probably be just a rebrand but I hope these guys get signed or at least some nice sponsors. Great team that has room to improve and can bring Portuguese CS to the big stage if they can get over some of the mental and physical blocks of playing against the best in the world.
