The game is unrealistic either way. The main point is to remove aug best feature, the scope. The weird zoomy thingy should be as cancerous as possible.

You mean its good at its intended use? It;s not as good as m4 at medium range, or close range unless you are within 1 shot hs (VERY close) when the a4 has the better firerate and basically same dmg. Not as good as awp long range and T's should learn to flash or peek together against long angles or smoke it off. Hey look, we found the basis of what competetive CS is based off. The ONLY change to rifles I see any point in is increasing the accuracy of them so its less random, especially when tapping. Then the scope will help but a skilled played can use m4 the same way. The AUG right now though fits its role perfectly I think.

People complain about the randomness, but on real life guns don't have perfect accuracy, specially if there's wind or long distance involved. I know it goes against pure skill, but I think it's not that bad.

I know guns dont have perfect accuracy in real life, but this is counterstrike. You dont die immediately if someone stabs you in the back, you cant bunnyhop, if you throw something it doesnt land in the same spot every time, your characters often dont have visible helmets, when you tacreload and ak or m4 you should get 1 in the chamber, your mags dont magically fill up to 30/ however many bullets you have left in real life, you will not be able to run around after getting a 338 lapua in your leg... need I go on? NEVER bring "in real life" arguments to CS. Valve have reduced the accuracy of rifles in the past, maybe they need to up them nowadays. We watch pro cs and play CS because of the element of skill not to play ARMA. At CS ranges rifles should all be pretty similar with accuracy

+1, its viable at its intended purpose and the increased cost from the M4 means you would only buy it in certain situations. If they nerf it they might as well remove it and the krieg from the game.

Meta in silver ;) AUG is sometimes viable in few situations (perfectly balanced not like SG, instead of nerfing it they destroyed the gun and now it's useless in every scenario)

didnt valve achieve what they wanted with krieg but then still nerfed it? i remember it wasnt used much then they made it 50 dollars more than ak and everyone used it, then they reverted the price but ppl still used it and then they nerfed it into the piece of shit it is today. i dont understand valve.

Valve is notoriously shit at balancing weapons. Next "nerf" will probably be the galil going back to 2000$, that's not a bad thing by any means. I'm not sure if they want to buff the krieg a little bit, but they sure as hell should... the fire rate is abysmal, and the weird recoil is not worth it at all rn

I think AUG is where it needs to be, esports scene reacts way too slowly to weapon stat changes like even if there's a minor nerf suddenly everyone stops using and takes half year before some team discover it's still actually useable and very much so and slowly the rest follows suit especially if teams like Astralis does it and makes some success with it. Krieg could ideally be just a tiiiiny bit more buffed, the only times it's currently useable is like being in pit on D2 or so where the long range gives scope useage some merits and possibly some spots on train, it's too limited in useage right now to warrant the price.

Actually AUG was 800RPM, but got nerfed to 666/667 RPM after the AUG week. And.... got nerfed to 600RPM after crying pros complained its too O P. Then Krieg was 666 or 700 (if you round it off) RPM and now 545 craps per minute. I don't see nerfing RPM as an option at all, it just makes the gun even more reasonable to be not used.

Bring back pre-nerf stats to both AUG & Krieg. Raise the price to 3500 & 3300. Price of the guns should be adjusted to it's power and not destroyed completely just because it's getting used more often.

SG 553 is good for tapping heads, I mean you have to be good at it. The recoil is bad though, hardly usable. The augs recoil is similar to m4 and is also great for holding sites. Main thing is a player with better aim will still take your head off with the ak or deagle. Aug does some 89 damage on first headshot and 553 is like an AK with scope only in the first shot, recoil is horrible.
