Yeah navi overperformed.
Doubt they can replicate that form on a consistant basis tho.
Next bo3 against astralis can easily end as an easy 2-0 for astralis as well.

Or not, navi overperformed because they all performed well in a unit. On the other hand, astralis are struggling to make a name for themselves in these recent tournaments, not saying that 2nd place and 3rd place are bad but, at least we can only agree that for now, navi is the best-looking team in 2021

It's hard to tell cuz the start of navi was super shaky and they almost got eliminated, they were one map away from being called a joke and vitality's choke on nuke also saved na'vi ass a lot.
The only convincing games were against g2 and astralis but both of those teams weren't on their game.
Honestly every single team this event looked shaky and could have won the event if things were slightly luckier for them.

I know it's hard, but it's also hard to win against a really new team. You can confirm that just by looking at ex-mibr when they almost won against astralis and g2 and also winning against faze. So your argument is irrelevant, let's just stay with facts. Saying that those teams weren't on "their game" is complete crap. How come a team that places second and fourth not on "their game"? Navi was superior, that's the answer. Now ofc it's impossible to conclude that on one single tournament, that's why I said for now.

When was the last time you saw astralis slapped 2-0 in a grand final ?
Of course it wasn't their game and they were out of it.
Na'vi was superior but astralis was out of it to the point that if they played that type of game against furia with honda they could have potentialy lost, it was that bad.
This navi against astralis would have probabaly win in a close 3 map bo3 against astralis if astralis turned up in their usual form.
But what I was trying to say was, this was a massive overperformance and navi will bounce back down again and will for sure, not keep this form following next events.

this. they are at the top for many years, more consistent than any other team. but 100% consistency is impossible, even astralis have a shitty day from time to time
