No. Actually in my opinion SCAR/G3SG1 >>> AWP. (If you compare stats) However the high cost and the possibilite to see your oppnent destroying your whole team if it's picked does not make it a worth considering how economy works. Also I believe there will be a scar meta before CSGO is gone.

M249 actually has better DPS than the AK does, and can one-shot HS at about 500 units (5x as long as the AUG's one shot HS range, giving it some CT viability), it just has a nigh-unlearnable recoil pattern.

a buff in itself isnt really the problem, its the cost. if it gets reduced it might at least gets used in lower levels. lower recoil is also really needed

+1 for me, just bring back old AUG and SG before price changes, great weapon but also pricey (+400 more than M4 and AK i think) but im sure many will disagree especially AK users, they say SG is spray is random, ez to HS but for me AK spray also pretty random and also have 1 shot HS capability

I think it would be good if they reversed the nerfs but increased price. So it would be middle ground between Rifle and AWP. I know that some pople will say that galil / fams is supposed to be the economy rifle m4/ak are supposed to be the middle ground but it would be nice to have option for 2 really good rifles at different prices. other than 1 good option and 1 very situationally dependent option.

In my opinion you cen get really nice peaks if u use respawn. But its fucking terrible for clutch situations where u need to be faster.

I could see it being used more if the recoil pattern was like the ak pattern. At the moment it feels kinda clunky to spray/burst with the slow rate of fire since it was the burst accuracy that made it great even without the scope. Aug and m4 feel very similar and u can spray both if u know the other. :()
