Most popular or not, funk is TOTALLY trash. This music is just about crab womans, apology for drugs and make a thief a "cool thing". If you're listening that, you have a chance to get out yet.

Yes, the correctly word would be thug. The analogy you made doesn't make any sense, I at no time said that funk makes crimes increase, but that they normalize thugs, drugs and treat woman like a "object". People are listening these songs and thinking these are normal things. Because of that, funk is TRASH.

Melody, harmony, rhythm and tone colour. Brazilian Funk can't combine these four central components into one piece. Technically, according to composers like Aaron Copland, it couldn't even be classified as proper music. It doesn't take much to acknowledge the obvious, really.
