Uhm, its different layout from other maps provides something unique. Stratwise it's a very balanced map, pro strats can get fast or slow at any point, rotations are quick and neither site is super hard to take or retake. Good aggressive or defensive awping.
A map like inferno on the other hand is a snore-fest. Every single round is the same, start round, take banana control while part of the team sneaks through the apartments and then fake one site and go to the other. If the bomb goes down, the CTs tend to have a hard time if they are not coordinated even with favorable numbers (i.e 4v3, 3v2). That's why I think it's important to keep a map like dust2 in the map pool considering it's Inferno's polar opposite.
