Hello Men)) Some months Ago i started a fitness journey and o went from 101kg to 82kg, but i still have a belly and my lower body (Thighs, glutes) are still Very Big, How can i know my bodyfat %?? I wanna lose It so i Can get shredded.

some gyms have machines that will give a decent estimate. I've found the most accurate results from them to be when i wake up and jump straight on it. no shower, no food, no drink or water or anything just wake up go gym jump on it

Best thing to do is to ask a doctor (dietician, ...)to measure it with the proper tools. They have some kind of claw that measure the resistance of the fat in the belly, the butt, the legs, etc ... It kind of pinch your skin and it gives you a %. If you don't have the tools or don't know how to do it I don't see any other solution. There's no mathematical formula you could do at home. You need to actually measure it.

Well, the best way that you'll actually ever have access to is a DEXA or bodpod scan, but probably not at the moment... so body fat calipers are your best bet, they're very cheap. They are not the most accurate BUT they can tell you if you are losing/gaining bodyfat and due to you being fat before it's even less accurate due to skin stretching etc I would reccomend googling body fat% examples for comparison to yourself BUT WARNING If you used to be big, you at 18% isn't going to look like someone else at 18% I was 160kg once upon a time and now I'm a relatively lean 85kg, those fat pockets and stubborn areas are the midsection tend not to go as equal as you'd imagine - I won't give you some broscience but it's probably due to the visceral fat you store around your abdo. it WILL go, just a little more difficult, stay in your deficit. Alright men. If i cant find this doctor i'll Just Go for a blindshot and do a diet to lose as much as i can in some 2 or 3 months. And Holy shit from 160 to 85kg is brutal, congratulations 🔥🔥

Some lessons I learned: work out, don't just lose fat, it looks worse than being fat, it'll fuck up your body. at 85kg I have some bodyfat but I'm strong I deadlift 2x my bodyweight, I OHP over 80% of my bodyweight and if you looked at me, you'd say, this mother fucker lifts. Use a TDEE calculator for calories, eat 300 less than that and still work out with at least 0.7grams of protein per lb that you weight so 100lb = 70g protein a day It's a life style change, if you just starve yourself (as I did for first 40kg) it'll never work, if you want to improve your health and how you look, you need to work out, use myfitnesspal to track what you eat and just know what you're putting in your body every day how much you actually weigh doesn't mean anything, you will look A LOT better and be a lot healither at 85kg than you will at 75 or even 80kg just losing weight. Best of luck!

Use the tape method to check your bodyfat, its pretty accurate (+-2% error). - > calculator.net/body-fat-calculator.html And use this measure as a reference. As for losing body fat, simply eat less than your maintanence kcal (TDEE - google it, and then subtract like 500kcal to that number, that will put you on deficit and you will lose weight) and keep exercicing. Weight yourself every week and as long as you are losing like 0.5kg a week you're golden . If not cut harder on the kcal.
