Just shows how you have not been following him at all, he didn't make top 1 for being an aggressive top fragger. Cold is the most passive player in csgo history yet he made top 1, it wasn't for being aggressive, it was for standing out consistently in a team that was dominating, cold has always been a safety net clutch player that never misses the easy shots.

Cold was known to be the best muti fragger of all time. He had the best game sense at the time, always knew where to take the next duel.

I think in all sports we want to see the legends show why they were considered the best, we want to see them live showing all their skills. When that doesn't happen we are uncomfortable. Messi pays the price in football when he doesn't play well and all the legendary Brazilians in football paid that price too. I understand how you feel. I started following CS GO in 2018, I also couldn't watch coldzera in its best form and that makes me sick.

Coldzera is still old enough to play well, but I think he doesn't know how to do that anymore. He was the best in the world training hard, he was never talented. FalleN and other players are talented, they don't need so much training, maybe that's why coldzera is no longer able to stay on top, he doesn't know how to train himself to be there anymore.

niko came up with suggestions to roster change, role change etc cuz he was igl and wanted to get positive results. The final word was always decided by the org. People forget that there are coaches and other headmasters that decide some things, players in the roster can just agree and disagree with that

basically they wanted an IGL after cold joined, and they came close to signing Alex. But never in any interview by cold, niko, ynk or rain, their were hints of cold wanting to IGL, niko didnt want to IGL was the news. Cold was calling some rounds because of his experience but he never wanted to be a full time IGL. Karrigan was brought back because of cold and even only cold knew twistzz somewhat personally. This roster is assembled by cold and if this fails (specially twistzz and karrigan), cold be be smashed by whole community.

Forgot to mention that Twistzz joined faze because of his gf, which played a really big role in it. Since she lives in germany and Twistzz wanted to be with her, and Faze has their hq in germany too, thats why he decided to move.

Twistzz left TL because of irl things, he lost motivation + wasnt given the AWPer role as he wanted in TL. He wanted to take a break from cs completely.
Many good EU teams like col for example also wanted Twistzz, but that didnt work out as they didnt had the money for him. Faze are rich cunts and could allow themselves spending more than most of the teams could. Again, he prioritised his gf over a good EU team that was not in germany

You know he said he was near to getting benched last year. He lost motivation because of that. Twistzz buyout was not insane and he could have signed any team. FaZe never bootcamps in germany, and in this online comp u can participate from any country in EU. FaZe's CSGO team never uses Germany HQ. Dont mix professional and his private life( girlfriend) as you dont know his backstory of his issues with dad and other stuff.

In an interview he himself said after Nitro was removed, and grim was bought in, everyone new eventually twistzz is the one gonna get replaced as soon as his performance drops. He chose FaZe because he wanted to be star player. Cant be star in compelxity cause of blamef and k0nfig, also he knew cold personally. He said he wanted to stay in EU because of higher competition, and he knew NA scene is dying.
Think properly, 22 year old guy would not risk his entire career and said no to a better org for his girlfriend. FaZe provided him

2. Cold in an interview said he talked to 2 guys and both agreed. Karrigan rumors were before twistzz leaving liquid. Twistzz said he wanted to join a team with strong IGL so basically knew karrigan was coming.
4. They were friends since 2017 (Liquid vs SK times ), they didnt talked on daily basis but they were pretty good friends. More than cold and rain tbh.
Its better to start with FaZe than join any NA org or smaller EU org. He was not gonna be picked up by Astralis, Navi, Vitality, G2. FaZe was the best option imo

Probably true and fair to call.
Karrigan did not make his decision before after his contract with mouz expired. So it wasnt actually 100% that karrigan would join faze back.
It was either one out of the two things.
1. Karrigan didnt have a clear decision and wanted to stay with mouz considering the young talents there and achieving something with them
Or
2. He already got a nice paycheck and waited to publish his decision after his contract expired just to make it fun and intriguing
lol, he always said he wanted to sign IGL, he never did, ynk only said they had chance to sign aleksib, blamef and dexter but they (Niko) did not believed in them. And as soon as Niko leaves, kjaerbye gets kicked and an IGL who was removed by niko comes again and along with NA's best aimer. Niko did nothing for this roster. Broky turned out to be good player but Faze still dont have a real awper.

Cold also said most of the decision were taken by Ynk and Niko. Why in the fucking world will you sign Kjaerbye. FaZe owner is not from CS go world and gave Ynk and Niko freedom but they fucked that freedom. In Karrigan's removal both guardian and rain said NO, there was a rift between Niko and karrigan (both agreed). Kjaerbye got removed as soon as niko went, ynk resigned (got removed who knows). I dont hate Niko as a player, i dont like what he did with FaZe.

When you remove a player, you group up and discuss. When you recruit a player, you also group up and discuss. Kjaerbye is a majors AWP, he also looked decent in North besides that. But unfortunately it didnt end up quite well. Everything went downwards for Faze was right after karrigan asked Niko to take over igl role, while karrigan was still in the active roster, in the middle of a major :DD and from that point niko got all the blame, started getting called choko, then getting the blame for (suggesting) kicks and so on

u know karrigan asking niko to igl was because niko was not listening to karrigan's call and doubting his every decision. I also dont like rain and olof in that regard. They should have raised thier voices. I dont feel rain has any say in recruitment or removing.

And niko took the igl role because karrigan was calling shit and absolutely nothing worked out. Atmosphare in the team went south, and everybody played individually. Niko wanted to give some fresh calls instead of doing the same that just did not work out with karrigans calling

i agree with that, but instead of fixing those things with bootcamps, practice and trust, they removed karrigan and inside 6 months karrigan won events with mouse (highly unexperienced side) and faze won nothing except blast events.
I also love the fact now karrigan is back and i still believe rain will get activated in 2-3 months. Nothing happens in 3-4 days. This team looks good and should stick together for more than 1 year.

Yeah, the names sounds scary from that roster. Karrigan will do his things soon enough. It was just an unluko game from Faze, didnt watch both maps, but as much as i saw, there wasnt much faze could do against TL. Good calling from Fallen.
Just like mouz and Astralis game. Good callings and reasonable duels. Missed shots here and there but shit happens. Both rosters (mouz and faze) looking good. Just need to give them time getting used to eachother

I watched both matches
1. Cold had a slow start on mirage but than absolutely came alive and was top fragger on mirage.
2. FaZe didnt looked settled on Nuke
3. Imo comms issues and they were not clearing and covering before planting bombs
4. Karrigan in post interview said still roles and posis are not settled and they are not looking from these tournament, they are working to be the best in next 5-6 months

Well i will elaborate it a bit better. Faze might not play as good as they did with olof for the next couple of weeks because olof knew the team pretty well. Past teammates said he has really good communication and no doubt is one of the most experiance players in scene right now. Its no secret you need support and structure to set up your entry for sucess if its going to be karrigan or rain we will know in the future. The point overall i wanted to get across is that they shouldnt change anything exept roles. Twistzz is looking good, broky seems to have cooled of a bit, rain seems to be loosing some duels but thats expected and cold also has his moments you can still see he has the aim and skill, the problem with cold for me is that on t side he can disappear for 5 rounds not finding any sucess with his lurk. So i hope they change it up a bit

I watched little lg and sk games but im pretty sure he has most of his positions on ct side, b on train b/cat mirage b/doors d2 and prob b/arch on inferno. For cold to peform you need him to not be ovewhelmed by impossible situations. You will want him to cluth the 1vs1 1vs2 2vs2 situations and if they go to his bombside for him not to be alone, thats why i thin him and taco had so much sucess. I think colds problem right now is more on the tside
