So I am using thinking of Arctis 3,Blackshark V2 X and HyperX Cloud alpha. As reviews say Blackshark V2 X has the best sound quality but I feel that undetachable cable is big disadvantage,I give the thing quite of money and I dont want it to fall apart quickly,so I am going between Arctis 3 and Cloud Alpha.Which one is better? /discuss

I have the Arctis 7 but have heard from plenty of people the Arctis 3 is very good aswell. No experience with Cloud Alpha I'm afraid.

I've had nothing but good experience with my Arctis headset. Cloud Alpha isn't too bad on price either or is it?

I think both options will be more than fine then, only thing is maybe look at design and comfort level for your ears?

Cloud Alpha Pro. Good sound, comfortable and doesn't feel like it'll fall apart anytime soon.

The thing that I meant with falling apart was having undetachable cable, because headphones problems are mainly cable related. Now if I buy razer now and its cable gets rekt,it means that headphones are rekt

cloud alpha is better, talking point would have been if you had compared arctis 7 vs cloud alpha... but in your case cloud alpha seems to be the alpha choice ;)

Prices are closer for Alpha and Arctis 3.Arctis 7 is more expensive than both of these

True, but cloud alpha is better overall at that price

i would recommend regular headphones and external mic. gaming headsets are average at best(90% of them) overpriced(100% of them) products

gimme high end and mid quality. can go from $200-400

you will not buy high end for 200-400 bucks, forget it. high end is around +-(depends on model which you want ofc) 3000 bucks(can go up to 5000 and ofc even more)... Meze Audio 99 Classics are affordable heapdhones that are "close" to high end and they are around 300 bucks Beyerdynamic Amiron Home are one of the most confortable headphones that i tried so far i guess. cleare and neutal sound for budget heapdhones i would surely recommend creative aurvana live. they are around 60-70 bucks and for that price you will geat great product but you have to search in some smaller local shops for those but i would do that. their sound quality is easily comparable with way WAY more expensive models...i would pick those over all head sets(even the most expensive ones/best ones based on ratings or whatever). i tested all those headphones by myself and i would surely recommend all of them(my brother works as an sound engineer so i have an access to test almost every sound related product for free so i tried a lot of headphones tbh:D)

lol I won’t be getting high end then. Any recommendations for a mic/amp for the budget one then?
2021-02-24 23:58
I'd say that the better ones are better in my honest opinion
2021-02-22 14:15
hyperx cloud alpha, not even a competition, mic on the blackshark is horrible, the hyperx has better build quality, and very comfortable, the best probably. And the sound is great, it's not a surprise that the majority of pros use it.

None
2021-02-22 14:43
Non gaming headphones + amp + attachable mic > ALL

HyperX Cloud I. These are Takstar Pro80 with an added microphone. The Cloud II and Cloud Alpha are already downgraded by HyperX using smaller transducer. So Cloud I > Cloud Alpha > Cloud II > Blackshark V2 > Arctis 3.

I heard fnatic react headset is really good for the price but it has fnatic logo.....
2021-02-23 21:08
buy a pair of real headphones, like the sony mdr's or the dt 770 and youll have them for 10+ years with amazing sound quality. i got myself some beyerdynamic custom pro studio and had a boompro mic for 10 euro attached on them. now i got new earpads for them too. ill never change. if thats out of your budget get the cloud2 as theyre the closest thing to real headphones instead of super bassy, horrible sounding gamer gear. stop paying for brand and fucking rgb on a headset.
