The Gentlemen- quite new film, but really liked it
Red Rock West- only if you like Nicolas Cage
Matchstick men- my favourite movie, also with Cage, but if you want to watch it, better not to read any reviews cuz that may destroy the movie.
The secret life of Walter Mitty - another great movie
a Bronx Tale - imo best 'gangsta'movie I've ever seen

If I were you, I would search for"best foreign film" awards in the last 20 years. You have no idea how many good, non-english movies, there are out there. When you are done with that, search for Sundance awards or other film festival awards (besides the fucking Oscars and Academy Awards) for best movies. It will blow your mind.
You are welcome.
