Right, well you know that Malthusian theory predicted a death for the human population much before nowadays and with a much smaller population.
Necessity is the mother of invention meant our food production has gone up significantly. Also climate change isn't related to Malthusian theoruy.

Population size and time period aren’t relevant. The point of my assertion still stands that people will either adapt or die trying, but we are not doomed to inherently die out

It has nothing to do with access of information. You would think that those with access to the answers to nearly any question would be more knowledgeable, but absolutely not true.
For example, TikTok and its trends.
Some of the trends I have seen on TikTok include:
- eating tide pods/other detergents
- filing down teeth to make them straight
- a "Z" tattoo to symbolize Gen Z, which turned out to be very similar to a Nazi Symbol (wolfsangel)
- taking medicine in high dosages, even if it was not prescribed
- licking toilet bowls and other extremely contaminated things
- There was even a trend where people would pretend to be 9/11, holocaust survivors, etc., with loads of make up and an outfit
It has nothing to "seeming more retarded", Gen Z has some of the dumbest retards you could find on the entire planet.

majority of people dont have enough self-control to think and recognize what best for them, the only thing keeping them in check is their law and morality
and remember internet was developed with (almost)complete freedom in mind, so it can amplify any of our potential, whether its (perceived good or bad)
pair both of them up, if the user itself cant keep themselves in check, majority will maximize their potential in bad ways
What im trying to say is, maybe if the people in 1960 had access to the internet you would see just how stupid they were. Back in the days there was just no way to show the whole world how dumb you are and nowdays anyone can own a twitter/instagram/tiktok,etc... account and be stupid in group with other stupid people.

I get that symbols can mean different things, but it is ironic that a generation so focused on being progressive gets mad at someone unaware of the similarity and then send numerous death threats to said person.
Also, Gen Z absolutely makes death threats. Just because they are young does not mean they are unable to terrible things. Surely you would remember people being bullied in school and such. With social media, they are able to bully others from the comfort of their home and without any repercussions.

This instance was definitely by Gen Z too. TikTok is predominantly Gen Z in the first place. Secondly, Gen Z has high amounts of emotional and politically active people. So when they see someone telling Gen Z kids to get a tattoo that somewhat resembles a Z used by Nazis, on TikTok, they are going to attack the person in question.

I think the majority of Gen Z are not like these retards. However, I find something prevalent in Gen Z is the lack of individuality. Many sacrifice their uniqueness in order to fit within a group or ideology that others follow. I have never seen any other generation with more of a "hive mind" mentality. For example, look at "stans". They center their whole online personality based on another individual and they attack others that disagree. Clearly, Gen Z is not the only generation to do this, but they tend to do it the most.

Even today not everyone can vote : immigrant can't, under age can't, prisoners can't in most countries, a significant part of the world population don't live in a country were they can vote etc...

idk why you want kids voting but ok, immigrants probably shouldnt be able to vote though they can after they stay long enough. prisoners voting is a different issue and I think more important is to just fix prison systems rather than really care if they can vote or not.

No, since we talk about the US, which define itself as a democracy. A Representative democracy to be precise.
Democracy means the people exercising the power. Not the people can exercise the power. And so in a Representative democracy, the people exercising the power by choosing their representatives.
Hence for the US to claim itself to be a democracy, its people must vote. So the can/can't vote is equal to the do/don't vote.
I give you some exemple : if you could chose between Stalin and no one else, and you chose to not vote. Would you call it a democracy? Yet people can vote and if they do/don't it is not your problem as you said.
Again, as a majority of US people do not vote, then a majority of US people has no access to the US democracy.

yes if you look at it this way I agree with you. I just thought we were mostly speaking about who can and cant vote. It is clear that the US was never a true democracy in the first place. Constantly getting worse year by year.

Advantages for the internet generations include free information easily accessed within seconds and many easy, low-capital business opportunities
Best gen to be born in was the millenials by far. Kids had good irl social environments while growing at the start of the internet, it was the best of both worlds. This peak of society won't be reached again since the internet has already been created.
Nowadays kids are socially inept and easily brainwashed by nonsense (also partly due to a lesser and lesser development of critical thinking, but that's a tangent).

100% true. So much stuff really got started to develop early 2000s which you grew up with and there wasn't yet dumb shit like social media. I wouldn't say it is impossible to grow up similar nowadays but it for sure isn't as easy and before the 2000 could also have been nice however not having any cool technologies at all would be a no-no for me nowadays. And millennials also don't have the problem with being inapt at using technologies cause they grew up with them just like new gen z. It's kinda the best of the old and new world imo
Best generation is always the newest. They will have best healthcare, best information, best everything. They are most likely to colonise a new planet, to bring in a dawn of new technology after the singularity of AI happens, etc.

Millenials are the best. I think they are equally balanced in terms of maturity and modernity, conservative and liberal etc.
I believe Gen Y was also referred to as a failed generation, due to the workers being very lazy, egocentric and more of them ended up in the gutter. No idea where the official source is.
I feel like the later you are born nowadays, the worse off the generation is due to social media making every political argument a war to be had, I just think as time goes on there is going to be more and more division due to the way the social media algorithms work. That's why young people don't understand the world. Their world is iPhones, drinking coffee from Starbucks and watching Netflix. Most of them don't even work so I think they are lost generation. At the same time young people in China work hard to become scientists/engineers or lawyers. They don't have time to do stuff like westerners do.
