Cyberpunk2077 dead game?
s1mple |

No one talks about this game anymore unless its about a patch that was promised go fix the game that got delayed

Lmao seven years of development and player count proves just how shit this game turned out to be. What a disappointment. They should have stuck with the original art style and management should’ve had a clue what the fuck they were making

Dude, they started developing it in 2016. Developers were constantly saying to the management that it will take extra 2-3 years to finish the game, but they thought that Witcher publishers' glory would save CDPR from a failure.
2021-02-26 11:49
yeah why should people? its just a singleplayer game, people who cared about it most likely finished it already. cyberpunk is no exception, its just what happens to singleplayer games you dont see people talking about the single player of GTA V, RDR2 or anything else either

How Tf is that Naive lmao. Most people have finished it by now and there will be no new content until the game is fixed so pretty understandable that theres not a high number of active players.
2021-02-26 12:54
"you dont see people talking about the single player of GTA V" X to doubt

i'm aware the multiplayer gets talked about a lot, but not the single player (well except for memes, but you got these in cyberpunk as well)

nah, but it looks like he is speedrunning GTAV? i mean sure, theres a lot of content creators for gtav, probably more than for a lot of games but speedruns and showcases etc exist for cyberpunk as well but i dont really include that in "the game gets talked about a lot"

Yeah, but I was just pointing out that the GTA V Single-Player community is still very much alive, in fact I enjoy playing Single-Player GTA V more than MP, I may sound weird but I find Single-Player unique. Well, games that get talked about a lot are either old classics or hyped up games which lose their hype in a matter of 2 weeks.

What about him? The guy's point is that single player games drop in popularity waaaay much quicker than multiplayer games, its obvious and true and you are dishonest schmuck. Speedrunners scene is a drop in a bucket. And 99.9% of people that follows it, only watches the runners play, nobody speedruns the games alone at home.

Was just pointing out that Single-Player games have decently large communities as well... "The guy's point is that single player games drop in popularity waaaay much quicker than multiplayer games" When did I say otherwise? That's just obvious lol, his point was that CP2077 doesn't get talked about anymore since it's a single-player game, which is partially true, but the main reason is that it has lost it's hype. This happens with both SP and MP games, you will only hear about these games inside of their communities (unless it's a worldwide game like LoL, CS:GO and possibly V-word...) after their hype dies down...

they're doing their best but unfortunately thats not enough its pretty buggy and there's still promised features missing in my opinion it was still a great game but CDPR still deserves to get trashed for the state of the game regardless
2021-02-25 14:30
It'll be finished next summer at earliest

I mean, once you finish the story there nothing much to do. Just wait for new DLC's

Single players die quickly. It may revive if bugs are gone and GTA-V like online comes

singleplayer rpgs can have like 1000h of content via replaybility, see divinity original sin 2 this one is just action adventure marketed as "rpg"
2021-02-25 15:28
I liked Witcher 1 and 2 and loved Witcher 3, but i havent played CP77 as i dont like first person perspective in rpgs, and it was so buggy it discouraged me from buying it. Also not a fan of this IP, i like fantasy or hard SF better than cyberpunk. I guess it may turn down some people.
2021-02-25 15:37
who cares about this shit game lol
2021-02-25 15:39

the game did great (on pc)
2021-02-25 15:42
Sorry already spent 90 hrs on it, most enjoyable game since Kingdom Come: Deliverance and first game I actually wanted to complete in probably 10 years. xD Even KCD which I did enjoy a lot when it was released I stopped playing at some point, might try to finish it one day. Cyberpunk I actually wanted to finish.

Finished it one time really quickly, got a bad ending so replayed and grinded side missions. Even so game is short af and not enough content so the minute I finished the endscene I quit the game and never played since. It's a good and I enjoyed it but I can't see a continuation to playing it.
2021-02-25 17:38
Is it possible that there will be a nice content DLC? So far I haven't bought the game because of negative reviews.

Ofc it's not being talked about anymore, people overhyped the living shit out of this fucking game as if it was gonna be some fucking masterpiece, it's just another fucking Triple A singleplayer game for fuck's sake, a very broken one for that matter...
2021-02-25 18:12
It is a singleplayer game of course it won't be "alive" for an enormous amount of time
