Getting 600fps+ with a RYZEN 5600x + 1060 in the benchamark map.
Best CPU for gaming right now. The game is so smooth i had to lower my sensivity.
If you want to have stable fps in any map this is the cpu to go for. And i haven't even overclocked it.
I can't tell the difference between 100 fps and 300 fps

There's more to it then just this.
Frames generated by the gpu basically are a sample size where the monitor picks the most current one at the time it is ready. The more FPS = More likely there is a fresh image right then when the screen is requesting for a update. On a fluctuating framerate the difference between sample freshness between update cycles might mean that your delay of information grows larger at times. It's always easier to get used to and adjust to a performance that is at a baserate lower but stable then higher but fluctuating.

I am not taking any part in that conversation. Just stating that there are other functions what you observe with FPS gains then just the lowest percentile getting higher. If you got severe dips, there is something else that is a issue and you're throttling/bottlenecked somewhere most likely.

no, its normal when you have played the game for thousands(or ten's of thousands) of hours. i can tell the difference instantly aswell. Not sure about 60hz 100vs300fps, since its been years that i played on 60hz, but i think i was able to feel it back then aswell(300->100fps drop in smoke for example feels like im pulling my mouse against a sudden shift in force or sth)

One eye sees 25 FPS. You have two eyes though. 2 times 25 equals 50. So you can actually see 50 FPS. If you have eyes on the back of your head it doubles again to 100 FPS.

Look dude. Two eyes doubles the processing power required for your brain. I think if anything it should be divided by two not multiplied. So if my calculations are correct average person should see 12,5 fps if both eyes are open. Why do you think sniper rifles have scope for one eye only? Because in sniping situations fps matters really much

Intel rushed the launch of 11th gen by 2 months. Mobo manufacturers have said they aren’t going to be able to make mobos as well as they have previously for this launch. Seems like a train wreck waiting to happen tbh

I agree with you in general. Most games are more gpu dependant than CS:GO, but if you only play CS:GO and don't do heavy tasks on your PC on a daily basis then going for balance would be ideal, although if you had to priotize one of either GPU or CPU, it would have to be CPU in that case. Oh and I agree that 600 fps is useless. I play on 300 capped, having the chance to go above 400 and I feel zero difference (240hz monitor). As long as it does go above your monitor's refresh rate, you will most likely reduce the lifespan of your CPU abusing super high numbers for no reason.

Ill tell you, now you dont need 600 but csgo is one of those games where you lose game performance in years with the new updates.
All this years the game had no drastic improvement in term of performance so the cpu is for future prove.
Second: Other games, i play other games too like AC odysea,GTA,rdr2 and the cpu is great in them too. 6 cores are more than enough they eat everything you throw at them.
Im on a 144hz in the future i might want to get a 240, 360 and i can go for it with no worries.
Cheap cpu also, and 60 wat = less energy consumed, low temps ez profit

Right now, most of intel products have better price/performance ratio, i agree with that, but they are worse when it comes to head to head latest intel vs latest amd cpus (with just basic tuning like pbo + xmp) and also intel cpus are consuming much more power and are harder to cool, deal with it, thats a fact.

1) you are just jumping to a different thing, i said normal customers wont do it, those 3600mhz ram are meant to run at 3600mhz so pushing them to 4ghz (even if they could handle it) would require voltage tuning, nobody from normal customers would do that, only like “pc guys”..
2) sry didnt watch the video, just checked like 2 seconds.. dude actually 50w extra is quite alot only for cpu xdd but overall, check other tests like from gamers nexus or hw unboxed and u will see intel cpus consuming rly lot of power compared to ryzen..

and also while playing anything higher than 1280x960 you might also invest in GPU. I wont say you're going to have a huge upgrade but my teammate went on from 470 on fps_bench 128tick to 600+ upgrading 970 to 3070

I upgraded my i5 3570k to a 3950x and noticed a huge jump in performance, on average on d2 maybe id get like 160-200 something, and it wouldnt be stable and jump around all the time. Once I upgraded to the 3950x (and a new mobo and 128gb of ram for the lols), its a stable 3-500 depending on background tasks. Very smooth.
