I remember when that whole MIBR x CHAOS drama happened last year, there were a lot of hate comments against MIBR’s players and Brazilians/the Brazilian scene here, none of them were deleted.
When I called Xeppa and leaf cheaters on a thread, less than 5 minutes later my comment was deleted.
So yeah, I agree the rules and even more the rules enforcement needs to be more specific
I am fairly sure that the rules are ambiguos by design so they can delete stuff without having to be too clear as to what the reason was.
+1 just check my last 4 bans on my bio (and all of them happened in 1 month)
It's classic mods' dictatorship, that's not unusual
i said guys an idiot and got a 4 day ban which is dumb
ahaha i saw a thread yesterday it was ''PROS I WANT TO FUCK'' and there were several pro player names. It was not deleted more than half an hour. I dont actually know how long it was on site after 30 minutes.
I wanted to make a thread literaly like literaly what you wrote but i was afraid im gonna get banned ty my friend!
With the state of the site the ambiguous rules are probably better than baiters and trolls trying to poke holes in every single line of text in the rules page
Simpler rules sometimes suck but they're better
Good thread but... I don't know if this is enough for them
Are the mods on this site paid btw? If so what a joke. So many racist threads staying up forever, then I got bans for very small infringements. Also apparently you can't criticize pros but its okay to bully and harass other members, as long as you don't use any "banned" words.
I know HLTV can be a cesspool and must be hard to manage, but I feel a better job could be done.
Indeed. HLTV rules are way too open catalog to understand.
Still waiting on a response from an HLTV mod, why can't you respond to this? I'm sure you've seen this
HLTV is run by the CCP, their censorship/ban requirements are inconsistent.
I've said these things so many times in threads, ban appeals but they never listen or update the rules. They literally banned me twice for a rule that doesn't exist ("+1" for "supporting offensive content"). This site is a mere shell of its former self and will quickly die out if moderation like this continues.
