Do you guys get murderous thoughts about specific individuals who did you dirty?

The very purpose of my illness is to have horribly invasive, intrusive thoughts of such nature all of the time. Thinking bad thoughts doesn't make you a bad person, acting on them does.

Depends on the day and context is involved with the situation. Constant micromanaging of thoughts, compartmentalisation and the like is a good long-term management with some CBT training; but in all honesty bad thoughts don't really go away... You learn to live with them. I obviously won't go into detail about them but I will leave that up to your imagination.

I try to be as nice as humanly possible at all times but I have no control of what goes on upstairs in the thought-department. I have to constantly learn to live with "bad thoughts" but I would obviously never act upon them. If you are curious and want to read more, here: google.com/search?q=intrusive+thoughts+o.. <-- I apologise for the link being in English, friend.

It depends on the day in all honesty. :D you'd be surprised on how much sleep I can get overall and how much you can survive on very little. 6-8 hours per day is average, I'm lucky if I get anymore than that, to be honest with you.

I guess it depends on the person and how sleep or lack of ultimately affects them. Back during my spats of depression, when it was really, really bad, I used to sleep for 15+ hours every day and I was practically looking like death all of the time, even with all of that sleep.

Ah, my apologies. :( "ah, but when do you wake up," Usually around 8am-9am in the morning, though this depends on the day. "but did you go to your Uncle's pet's funeral?" It was buried in the back garden and I wasn't present for that, so I said offered my condolences and I spent the day consoling my Brother who it his particularly hard... Losing a pet is rough, it is a part of your family depending on the attachment and pet -- I blubbered like hell, it wasn't even my pet...

"did you wake up earlier when you had to go to work?" Thankfully my work is virtual and online. "I've never had a pet before sooo....." You've never had a pet before? That is absurd.

Ah. fair enough. Insects are more considered "food" than pets due to them being at the bottom of the food-chain, practically.

Not humans, other creatures. Most reptiles are insectivores and obviously it depends on the creature in question. I've eaten centipedes when I was a child but otherwise I don't think they are necessarily supposed to be edible to humankind.

But what if i was a racist and i think some terrible things and say some horrible things but i don't actually segregate/act them upon any minorities. Would i still not be a bad person?

It depends on the horrible things being said. There is a difference between being horribly and offensively racist and expressing racist connotations overall. If the intent isn't to hurt other people, then I don't think that makes you a bad person. Context is also important. I have a friend who couldn't be kinder to other people but when he rants, he says all kinds of awful things that he doesn't mean, that doesn't make him a bad person. Presumably, you would know if you are being intentionally racist or offensive to another person.

I was reading a paper about a dude that I think had a similar illness, and he had to take pictures of himself to make sure he didn't do nothing. Must be hard to deal with something like that, but as you said, they don't go away so you gotta learn and kinda domesticate that. That's how I try to deal with my anxiety. Our mind is a beautiful and crazy thing, sometimes I think being dull or not being able to form thoughts would be a blessing, but at the end of the day I admire the fact of how awesome is to think and imagine.

The way I see it, our illnesses just makes us that more unique as human beings and it is a pleasure to get to know the ins and outs of that very person. :) Acceptance is usually the first step in dealing with such a thing but seeing the negativity of it all can sometimes make it worse, as it isn't necessarily our fault, we are victims at the end of the day. I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety, it can be very rough to deal with indeed. I hope everything is going okay for you currently, friend. :)

yes, but I don't want to go to jail, so I cut myself on the chest with the sharp end of my tube of toothpaste
2021-02-27 01:56
Yes. I had even planned the killings of three classmates in middle school, but my father's pistol was nowhere to be found when I most needed it. Grew out of it eventually.
2021-02-27 02:43
Why would you murder someone when you can turn his life in a permanent misery?

I've had them before, but they usually involved people I was around the most, feeding those thoughts made me feel quite weird in plenty of situations in the past.
