Would you say the remaining CIS team can be labelled as tier 1?

Na'Vi are out so they're not in question. I took VP for tier 1 even before the Katowice, they were already solid and reliable. But if TS were nearing that status with their on going ever so promising progress but weren't there quite yet, Gambit was a stepping stone of tier 2. What do you make out of them now? Rankings kinda help having TS placed at #7 but Gambinos are the most controversial fellas, they must be somewhere in between tier 2 and tier 1. What do you thinkos, is it one time affair, a dream scenario where CIS are thriving no matter what, never to be seen again in the future, or have they finally got their stuff together and realised that they're capable of being consistent?

sure they can be tier 1. But they will swiftly go back to tier 2 if this turns out to be a fluke.

Yeah it's like I will slowly die if I turn out to be unable to breathe.

If Astralis, Navi or Vitality have a shit tournament they will still be tier 1. If Gambit, VP or Spirit have a shit tournament they wont be tier 1.

It's understandable but how many tournaments should those three attend and reach playoffs, at least, not to be considered 'fluke' anymore?

They'll have to prove it, to overshadow CIS at this tourney, TL need to win the whole thing with dropping less than 5 rounds in the semis and less than 15 in the finals. If they can do it, CIS thing no longer will be the headline.

Too bold a prediction, they'll always be having tough opposition to overcome in the matter of CIS and Europe's best and it's given FalleN will always perform at his best which is so unlikely. And if Stew doesn't turn out to be their worst player 10 out of 10 times, maybe they're on to something.
