GuardiaN already lost his shot. NiKo most likely as well given the free fall G2 are in right now. No way he can keep up performance like that for the 1-2 years required for G2 to recover. rain and karrigan still have an outside chance, we don't know how much karrigan and Twistzz joining FaZe will improve them, if they're lucky, and Astralis + Vitality + NaVi don't improve massively, they have a shot at the Stockholm Major or the coming Majors in 2022. But it's too early to call.

Yeah, definitely a big upset, though with what we now know about the inner working of ENCE, it's insane to think what could have happened if the team didn't fall apart internally... Could have been the best in the world.

Yeah, it's insane, although I know the C9 players have talked a lot about how demotivated they got after their Major win, and how even before winning the Major the team was falling apart. Still a really interesting game.

fnatic winning the very first Major was most probably the biggest upset of all-time. I guess the timeframe probably paints a different story, but you have no idea how favoured NiP were to win that event and in comes another Swedish team from nowhere and wins the entire thing... It was amazing to see live.

I wasn't around to watch that game but with hindsight I would have loved to see that, even being an NiP fan. Devilwalk winning a major vs f0rest and GeT_RiGhT in 2013? Sounds absolutely insane even today.

If you can find the vods on I think the DreamHack YouTube channel? It is actually a pretty good watch even by todays standards of CS:GO. :D The nostalgia is unbelievable looking back at 2013 CS:GO... It was like a completely different game back then.

Yeah, the only map I never experienced in it's old version was Train, I started playing CS about 4 months after it was updated, and it might not be so surprising to hear that I don't really like the old style. But I actually kind of miss the old Inferno.
