First of all, this thread will be mostly about the clips shown on the video below, where i do made a comment, but today I'm going to talk about some things more than just that + this is only a possibility, Yekindar could have been cheating, any pro could, but imo all the clips were easily justifiable and not a real evidence. All my arguments were made after rewatching the games + looking all the clips in 0.25x speed, and then rewatching it on 1x speed. Credits go to me and PawlingInfamous.
1. the first clip was with the MP9, basically Yekindar killed a guy (normal kill) and then he flicks to the smoke to get the kill though Gla1ve
The problem is, Yekindar was with a MP9, those type of spams through the smokes are pretty normal with this weapon + if you put on 0.25 of speed, you can see at the corner of the screen, that Gla1ve did jump pretty closely of Yekindar, which means that Yekindar knows that an enemy was close.
2. He was with an M4A4 in a “corner”, then he flicks to a guy though the wall.
The problem is, watching other players in this position, most of the time they also look to the wall, this is called an anti-flash + i don't think anyone would bind his aimlock to the leg of the enemy, especially with an assault rifle.
3. Deagle prefire to kill Magisk.
Magisk was playing on the banana while the rest of the teams went to A, he did shoot on the ct as a prefire, this means, to Yekindar, that someone was there. Then he proceeds to make a prefire + Famous plays, like Happy deagle, made the exactly same thing
4. Just an AK47 kill.
I don't see anything suspicious, the guy was running, peaked, and then killed, nothing more, nothing less
5. Yekindar strange peak
Again, why would someone bind his aimlock on the leg of the enemy? + A lot of times pros miss the positions, looking more to the right, left, up, down, etc. If you see the clip, he almost had no time to preparate.
6. Push on the connector
Yekindar threw a molotov on the connector, after that, he runned to the wall, as if he knew a push was going to happen. The problem is, this was not the first time that astralis pushed on this position + after a molotov, the enemies know that he needs time to switch to the main gun again, so a peek is very normal and expected.
7. Yekindar aimlocks through the door
He was getting spammed through the door, I don't see any problem in looking to where he was getting shooted + this happens a lot in matches
8. Yekindar wallbang
Yekindar made a smoke to the connector door, then an enemy pushed, Yekindar went back to a safe spot and then he wallbangs the door perfectly where the enemy was. The problem is, he was not alone on the connector, he was with a teammate who saw that Magisk goes back, therefore a wallbang is the best way to try to kill him (Magisk was spotted and with low life)
9. Looking through the wall
As Pawling said, Elige was making lots of noise, this is also very normal on the pro scene, since people have a very advanced technology called headphones.
10. Idk what is suspicious here
So he was at the toilets, peaked mid and killed magisk, realized that the enemies could shoot in his backs (or he just heard the enemies) and then flicked to his back, nothing sus.
11. Yekindar peek
Normal prefire spot, lots of awpers like to play in this position so its very easily explainable that he just expected an awper on this position, since Liquid didn’t buyed any primary weapons on the last 2 rounds (which means an awp is very likely)
12. Yekindar smoke “aimlock”
The flick itself was suspicious without context, but watching the game it becomes pretty obvious that Yekindar didn’t flicked to the enemies, but was trying to cover Buster, which was going to plant the bomb, so he basically was just looking to a possible jump shot or a boost (the smoke was fading away)
13. Scout shots
Watching the accusation video at 0.25x speed, all the shots were normal, apart from the second one, which was a very amazing shot. Anyway, the csgo demo is not very precise
14. Idk what is suspicious here v2
So Liquid won lots of rounds in a row, they knew that VP economy was very bad. Yekindar and other 3 guys decided to push tunnels, so Yekindar made the entry jumping, nothing more
15. Yekindar wallbang
He saw from where the bullets come from, so why not try to wallbang? For the 15th time, nothing suspicious there
16. Yekindar smoke shot
The enemy was shooting inside of the smoke, he could see where the wall ends/starts, so he just shooted where the enemy is probably gonna be + that smoke is a one way.
I don't even know what is going on in this clip, but there are multiple explanations for this.
He could just be hearing the footsteps, since the enemies were running pretty loudly. Also, as Pawling said, “He's scoping early so then apps don't hear the scope. You can see him at the end pushing short at the end of the clip”.
18. Pot pre aiming
So, basically, in a Fallen’s video (Do prata ao global (From Silver to Global)) he said that strafing in this position is good because the advantage there is of the CT team. In this clip, Yekindar did the same but not strafing, just clearing the pixel.
The site was not going to be without any players, also Stewie got spotted from an enemy before getting killed from Yekindar.
Bonus Clip. Jame Market Wallbang
This is a very, very common wallbang, even i got killed from this multiple times, all that happened was an unlucko timing, the guy runned to market at the exact time that Jame tried the wallbang.
TLDR: Yekindar was NOT cheating imo
