They are, you see they have so many entry plays, I have seen them countless times taking entry and creating space for their team. They have a good KAST, they are extremely good in clutch situations and good with every weapon with a great gamesense as mentioned by other pro players. Thats why they are complete players.

I respectfully disagree. S1mple and Zywoo greatest players ever no doubt but I've never seen someone hit awp shots like prime guardian. He was other worldly. KennyS in his prime broke the game so top spot is fair. +1 for top 5.

Good opinion.. I always look on a team perspective because CS is team game.. I think talented players without a good team are just a waste of potential because they just collect all the frangs they possibly can... winning is just a consequence of their solo performance.. meanwhile intelligent players who can fit their role on good team are collecting money, thophies, majors and making history. CS is getting to way complex for just a one guy army. About Kennys, hes playing with fucking NIKO and his rating on the past 3 months is 0.98 with 33% winning rate team.
S1mple has his team structured so that he can perform in the best possible way, but for him to reach a semi-final is already a victory because they are not able to have consistency and S1mple cannot perform like a god to win all games despite never to disappoint.
but at the end of the day it still a team game and just the best ones can get far.
Fallen, Jw and device are not are not the most skilled but are the most intelligent managing to fulfill their role allowing everyone on the team to do what they know best

g2 just wants rifles to go first and use kennyS to provide backup and take out long range targets but hes struggling at doing that and because of that g2 cant really setup the rifle heavy style they want to use

You are 100% right, the only reason I placed PAPAbiceps above Guardian is that I used Major championships as a criteria of advatage, taking in to account that winning a major is very difficult and the pressure on that stage is higher than other regular competitions making it harder to perform at their peak. But if we look just the tittles itself Guardian>Pasha... definitively

GuardiaN is literally 3rd in terms of most hltv top 20 appearances with 6 and is only behind Device and Dupreeh who are both at 7.

a lot of people will vote zywoo, s1mple, or dev1ce because they have lots of fans and those have been the top awpers in recent years. People are unlikely to vote for awpers like allu, GuardiaN, KennyS, or oskar due to not being around when they were at their peaks, not being fans of them, etc
there's a lot of subjectivity in the ranking when asking people in a poll

pasha never consistently awped the vp lineup was known for their inconsistency. kennys only had 1 4month stretch of greatness where he was number 1 he cant be the best awper when he only has 1 year of being the best. simple has played longer than zywoo and is a better awper. guardian has been streaky for a long time and while he is easy top 3 simple is a better player. and where is skadoodle or nitro people who had stretches of greatness longer than allu or oskar and have achieved more?

S1mple is a better individual than device since 2016. HLTV top 20 lists were much more team based than they are now. Also it's his opinion so stop using HLTV as an official indicator since it's literally made by one guy who uses the stats on this page and decides which has less or more value. The age does also have a role why he has obviously more appearances in the list, I can guarantee you that s1mple will have better placements than device in the next 5 years.

irrelevant and also only personal opinion. doesnt matter if your playstyle is passive or agro if you master it, you do your job and you do it perfectly...and you are successful with it individually(mvps+hltv top20 ranking) and also with your team(trophies). another thing is that playstyle of astralis isnt about device. they never played around their awper(or around 1 player in general).
btw kennys was nuts in his prime. hands down. i would pick his peak over peak of device individually(even tho that kennys had broken awp in his peak) most likely BUT if we are talking about the best awpers in csgo overall(so through players whole career) then there isnt single argument why should be kennys ranked above device(maybe that peak and even thats debatable). stats, individual awards, achievments, consistency ? all those aspects favour device and tbh its not even close

The AWP was used in that dominant way only by Kenny and to some extent JW also. I challenge your dear dev1ce to do something that forces valve to change the game.
If you watched csgo in 2014-15 you would see that titan (a comparatively worse team than what you would expect a star player to play in) used to get top 4 finishes only because of kenny and ex6 supporting him
I also challenge your dear dev1ce to play so well in a tournament that HLTV has to break it's tradition of awarding the MVP to a player of the winning team and instead award it to a player of the losing team.
Dev1ce in no way is a better awper than Kenny. Yes if you are talking in terms of a better "player" dev1ce is easily the greatest player to ever touch the game. I have even said this in some other forums if you check my profile and my replies.
But in terms of awping, no one can touch the 2014 kennyS apart from 2018 s1mple.
If only kenny had been in a team like LDLC at that time, there would have been an LDLC era with Kenny leading it by storm.
Dev1ce was always surrounded by good players who would still perform even if dev1ce doesn't. For kenny, he is arguably the greatest hard carry of the game only to be contested by s1mple

if you are talking about prime/peak then yea. i surely agree with you and i even said that i would pick prime kennys over prime of device but if we would talk about the best awpers in history and not only about peak(with that being said about players whole career overall) then i would pick device.
i just cant pick kennys who is behind him in every other aspect (like consistency, achievments, indvidual awards but i would also put device over him in term of game sense, patience-not overpeeking and doing silly mistakes and mainly ability to adapt). im sorry but i just cant no matter how good prime kennys was.
with that being said:

overall device > overall kennys

As I said no one used the awp in its dominant/unfair way apart from kenny and jw, other awpers at the time didn't use it in that way. Valve felt the need to nerf the weapon since csgo is a team game where only teams who perform well should win.
Titan, a team which was never meant to be in the top 5, was hard carried by Kenny which changed the fundamentals of the game and was in a sense "unfair". The only times people were able to kill him is when he was looking somewhere else or some grenade barrage. Everyone, then knew that the awp nerf was literally nerfing Kenny, since after the nerf the passive awpers who earlier didn't stand a chance against him and jw, could now easily beat them if they held the angle.
Analysts like thorin and pimp have also said that the 2014 kenny was "too much". There was no one who could do the godlike things with the AWP apart from kenny. And kenny used it to such extent to the point that it became "unfair".
Also no one in the history of the game has been the best player in the world while being a primary awper. 1.37 rating for an awper, no one has matched that

If, as in your post, you're taking into account Achievements, skill and consistency:
1. Device 4 times major winner, 5 times in top 5, his legacy is higher that his skill level but the latter is still pretty damn high.
2. JW 3 times major winner, created and perfected his aggressive playstyle in the 2014+ era.
3. S1mple it's just s1mple, constantly carried his team with his incredible flicks and perfect aim.
4. Fallen created an era, 2x major winner, incredible awping WHILE being the IGL. His consistency as an awper is also incredible
5. KennyS Major winner, Valve had to nerf the AWP because of his incredible handling of it. Never really recovered but still easily in the top 5.
6. Zywoo Kid came out of nowhere and is level is matching S1mple's. Sill has to win a major and prove his consistency in the following years
7. Guardian Incredible awper for years, heartbreaking career, cannot really go higher.
8. Allu great awper, helped NIP keep their level for a few years, showed what he is capable in Ence...
9. oksar Great level, shows no sign of motivation
10. skadoodle Major winner, showed when he needed but yeah he's from NA so the bar is lower

Ok ,just imagine the current s1mple, with a faster AWP, on a shittier team, posting 1.20+ ratings every map, getting 1.0-1.10 awp kills per round, striking fear into the hearts of the best team in the world (fnatic, olof said in an interview they were scared of kenny) ,not picking up the rifle, clutching 1v3s and 1v4s consistently, hitting godlike flicks every map, forcing valve to change the game because of him, forcing HLTV to break their tradition of awarding the MVP to the player of winning team (kenny was awarded MVP in a tournament where they lost but stil since kenny was literally a god back then, he was given MVP medal)

I just don't agree with Zywoo being in front of guys like s1mple, device and FalleN.. after all, s1mple is kinda like old KennyS; device has a different (but EFECTIVE) style, and FalleN on his prime was a BEAST, unstoppable (Dupreeh said it was harder facing FalleN on his prime).
