and that's my whole point. niko exposes himself to more risky positions due his role. twistzz was starplayer at liquid and it's starplayer at faze, so he can just hold angles as ct, playing passively and tradekill as T. if you just consider raw aim, probably elige has better aim than twistzz and twistzz's playstyle would be similar to coldzera's at sk/lg: a player who plays more passively, does tradekills and knows how to read team's setups/strats well.

still when it comes to accuracy Twistzz is superior, both the stats and the eyetest back that up. And Twistzz was literally the second in behind stewie during 2019

No, Niko is much more consistently accurate. Especially with difficult shots, the stats are there to back that up. If twistzz had that aim every gunfight he wouldnt struggle to maintain a 1.1 rating.

His aim isnt close to Nikos. Nikos is just far more consistent and he deals with difficult flicks and spray transfers MUCH better. If you are a top 3 aimer at any given point on a relevant team you will maintain a high rating. If you are having motivational issues well then your aim degrades does it not?

Neither niko nor twistzz are known for their spray transfers and while niko has crazy aim for me Twistzz takes the dub based on Stats and the eye test which tells me that Niko works a lot more with preaim/crosshair placement than Twistzz does, and the fact that he hits his shots in the fashion he does regardless is why he holds a clear edge over Niko IMO

Yet Niko still has better transfers. Based on stats? You mean Hs%? An incredibly irrelevant stat, if we go by that than Styko and Sanji are top aimers.

That is not true as i have pointed out, Niko and Twistzz both play at the very top level as stars for their teams. Now taking into consideration that Niko uses crosshair placement far more that Twistzz does but they deliver about the same result plus Twistzz hs stats being higher (which certainly dont paint the full picture but they are far from meaningless) Twistzz takes the W

Xhair placement is a large part of aim but w/e. Doesnt change the fact that Niko consistently hits better shots in high pressure situations. Niko also AWPs far more than twistzz which naturally drops HS%

1. Ye twistzz had a shitty year so cant argue with that 2. Not really they are about on the same level but Niko sprays way more, (which is why Twistzz is my MVP in terms of raw mechanical ability) and works way more with preaim and i dont know where you got that last thing from. Both of them have multiple aces against t1

I get it simply from looking at their kills with pistols, a very trackable stat. Idk why you bring up aces lmao Niko is simply more accurate than twistzz and is able to use spray which is a large part of aim, knowing what type of shot to go for.

Niko is by no means the better aimer, the eyetest simply shows that Twistzz is able to secure far more headshots when rifeling both agressivively and when holding an angle, whit Niko its either spray or using his prepaced crosshair to wait for his opponent to walk into his line of fire
2021-03-04 18:20

He is, thats why he has the rankings and placements to back it up as a pure rifler. And idk where you get that from cause Niko has a higher entry rate than twistzz the past 12 months. Niko is almost always looking for aggressive duels at least on T side.

Uh what? This is the 3rd time now ive posted it on this thread. Across multiple teams Niko has a very high entry rate. Guess you're just choosing to ignore my posts now because you know you're wrong. hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill..
2021-03-06 06:06
hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. Btw imagine searching clutches instead of using HLTVs stat function which allows you to see every clutch ever. hltv.org/stats/players/clutches/3741/1on.. 60% 1v1 rate w/ 195 1vxs vs hltv.org/stats/players/clutches/10394/1o.. 58% 1v1 winrate w/ 187 1vxs

since when is 1v1 a "clutch" lmao, 2% difference is literally nothing lmao considering niko is an all time top 3 player, also niko has been playing 2 yrs longer and has less 1v3/4 than twistzz so dont be saying niko is a better clutcher than twistzz lmao also yeah i did use the clutch function but we were talking aiming in those scenarios, so i picked clutches that show his aiming ability best
2021-03-06 08:05

Yeah random highlights dont prove anything and no Twistzz has clutches dating back to 2015 vs top 30, same as NIko. And if you filter by top 30 the difference is much bigger. Twistzz farming clutches off of tier 3 NA teams.

Theres a clear difference if you have any math skills. But clearly you dont, same with your reading comprehension. Theres a reason Niko has multiple top 5s and Twistzz doesnt.

ill do this one last time. twistzz clutches vs top 30 per year since 2017: 39.75 1v1s, 23 1v2s, 8.25 1v3s and 1.5 1v4s for niko since 2015: 36.5 1v1s, 19.5 1v2s, 5.3 1v3s and 0.5 1v4s. twistzz beats him for clutches per year every time, but i guess niko has a 1v5 so hes a better clutcher LOL also being a top player has nothing to do with aim or clutching. like i said niko is a far better player than twistzz
2021-03-06 11:47
Idek why you're using clutches to determine who the better aimer is. Its clear by placements, impact on those placements and consistency that Niko has better aim, Twistzz drops off a lot more often. Really unfair you're using from 2017 for twistzz because Niko wasnt nearly as good in 2015/16 as he was in 2017 and he didnt face many top 30 teams. Just biased stats. Imagine using an irrelevant argument and still failing

hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. Still the highest entry rate on G2 by far. Hes a very aggressive rifler. Even more so than twistzz so your argument that twistzz is capable of going for aggressive duels and still hitting shots and Niko isnt is null. Niko does that A LOT with success.

2021-03-04 18:18
compare his ratio as ct and t. look how he's way better as ct than t. compare with a default raw aim entry guy, like yekindar. that just shows how he is better holding angles.
2021-03-04 19:45
12 replies
Link the stats then. Literally every player has more success on CT cause its a CT sided game but you can see in the multiple stat pages I linked that Niko entries a lot regardless of which team he is on. Always having a 25%+ entry rate.
2021-03-05 02:32
11 replies
no, there are players that has better ratio as t, like yekindar, art, elige. for sure the game is ct sided, but twistzz good stats are mostly related to his performance as ct. for sure you can have exceptions for players, like doing a better role in a specific map or playing a map very ct sided, but if you watch twistzz's demos you'll realize how he isnt very proactive, so his 'absurd aim' is also related to his ability to hold angles. that's different if you compare to elige, yekindar, etc.
2021-03-05 02:51
10 replies
I agree with you about twistzz but still highly doubt elige has a higher T rating than CT rating. Still though, proactivity doesn't just boost your aim. Twistzz is definitely a better aimer than Yekindar based on raw mouse movement. hltv.org/news/30969/top-20-players-of-20.. As you can see for his 2020 his T side rating was notable yes and higher than most, very good. But still lower than his overall indicating his CT rating was higher.
2021-03-05 03:08
7 replies
yeah, maybe you're right about ct/t side rating. this was honestly a personal opinion watching his recent matches. these stats arent good enough cause most important liquid maps are ct-sided so it could boost stats, you would need to compare or a ratio elige stat ct/average stat ct and elige stat t/average stat t or get a percentile distribution graph to realize which spot elige would be in both sides. all games that i analyzed twistzz he had way better performance as ct even on non-ct sided maps (inferno). maybe he can get a good t ratio as long as he works as last contact and confirm trades. proactivity can boost your stat, as long as it boost impact ratio, adr, but it might decrease your dpr, kpr. my main point is how when you are the last player, the most important won't be a godly aim, but read your opponent setup, be calm, stay in good positions, use utilities correctly. its more a brain game. xyp9x, fallen, karrigan, chrisj, for example - even shox. raw aim skills are used to get advantage in gun fights usually, like xantares, yekindar, art, elige (he's clutchy too), yuurih. i honestly cant agree about twistzz and yekindar. for sure you can consider how new yekindar is, but this dude have been absolutely insane, a really clean xhair placement. for sure he can start to be countered or decrease his performance, but what this dude did so far this year is enough for a top 4-7 player if he keep what he's doing. furthermore, maybe we have a different concept of aiming. i consider: xhair placement, spray control, spray transfer and awareness. for me, xhair placement is the most important as long as it will guarantee you at least the first kill.
2021-03-05 04:11
6 replies
Twistzz has great xhair placement though and very smooth/steady aim, you can tell hes fully in control of the mouse. Yekindar is sharp he hits good flicks and is snappy but his aim is still a bit, say, chaotic. He doesnt always know exactly how he wants to move his mouse but he still gets there in the end due to his reaction time and speed. And the way i see aim the more in control you are of precise movements and adjustments the better. Spray comes after getting the mouse to the target, no? And the more accurate you are initially the less you have to spray.
2021-03-05 04:31

ugh, i cant agree with you abt yekindar xhair. that guy knows basicly all pixels, check his hs% rn, its insane. he barely sprays
2021-03-05 04:49

Hs% is a useless stat based in aim style. You can be incredibly accurate like elige for example and still choose to spray more often which lowers your HS% considerably
2021-03-06 06:08
3 replies
i agree hs% by itself is a shitty metric, but if you watch his demo you'll realize how this stat is trustworthy in this situation, he barely needs to spray.
2021-03-06 15:10
2 replies
I mean i could say the same thing about twistzz, that doesnt really prove anything and twistzz has simply been doing it for longer with his aim style and has way more data to back him up.
2021-03-06 16:38
1 reply
yeah, i agree with you that twistzz is more reliable as long as he played more than yekindar, but my main point is how twistzz play style isnt focused on aim. that's just to show how the main reason of this replies were made: niko has better aim than twistzz. if yekindar keeps his performances, he'll def be better than twistzz aim-wise.
2021-03-06 16:47
as if yekindar didn't get most of his kills almost purely due to crosshair placement and movement
2021-03-06 13:00
1 reply
he does, but its not holding angles. he has a more proactive play. hold angles != xhair placement.
2021-03-06 15:06
I said he has struggled to recently while Niko hasn't indicating inconsistency in his gameplay.
2021-03-05 02:30
entries are usually the best/2nd best aimer of the team. niko, yekindar, elige, yuurih and art, electronic, dupreeh. you can exclude that situation if you want an entry to force space creation and act as a bait/info collection, like TACO, stew. if you watch twistzz demo, he was really passive on liquid (i didnt analyze him rn), so for sure he isn't a top tier aimer, but a good guy dealing with pressure, reading enemies' setup, geting position advantage, holding angles. look at his stats, he has too high 2.0 stats, but low impact. that means a lot of his kills are trade-based kills. now compare with those raw aimers as i said: all of them has high impact. first of all, its related to their role - for sure an entry will get a good impact rating. 2nd, he will be a guy able to get first bloods, out-aim enemies. as i said before, twistzz is more comparable to coldzera. his passive play style will get some kills cause he'll be in better positions and will have enemies' info as long as he will be last contact.
2021-03-04 19:44
6 replies
a role doesn't mean how skilled you are lol. the best aimers are also often extremely smart and good clutchers (ropz, niko, s1mple, zywoo, device, twistzz, kscerato, jks) so they're not gonna be first into a site. also half of the people you mentioned aren't even entry fraggers.
2021-03-04 21:30
5 replies
i never said it'll define and i never said you couldn't have a good aim playing on other positions. i just said by standard entry fragger is top 1/2 aimer of the team due the difficult to get kills, so he need to have a extremely good xhair placement, good spray transfer and awareness. as i said before, it has exceptions, like TACO. i told that to expose how elige is a better aimer than twistzz, you can check even by elige's aimlabs. all players i said are entry fraggers. they can not be main entry fraggers of team - like yuurih or elige - but they still do entry frag secondarily. u can check opening kills attempts by yourself. for sure its not a 100% secure data, but you can still notice how they are entry. astralis: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. natus vincere: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. vp: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. liquid: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. furia: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill.. g2: hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkill..

just open liquipedia and check his role there then. as i said, he isnt primary entry. elige has one of the best aim of csgo top tier lvl. pls watch some twistzz demo and you'll check his 'godly' aim
2021-03-04 22:51
This isn't always true tho. Just because you are entry doesn't mean you have the best aim. 2 best aimers on Vitality are Shox and Zywoo and they definitely aren't the entries. You cant just say that the entry always has the best aim. Jks had the best aim in Oce and certainly was not an entry.
2021-03-05 02:35
1 reply
i said twice its not always a rule. there are players with 'bad aims' and entries a lot: taco, karrigan. its literally on my message. in vitality you have a particular thing: they literally exploits zywoo as entry. zywoo and art were top fraggers at start of round (like 10s or 20s idk) and he has the most opening kills attempt of the team. for sure its understandable if you think he's an awp and he can farm a lot of opening kills, but if you watch vitality's demo you can realize yourself how they use their star player as first contact a lot.

because he was one of the few top pros who spent as much time playing other games than he did playing csgo. guys like twistzz, s1mple, zywoo, niko they can be good at any aim based game they put time into.

Doubt it, niko's sensitivity is way too slow for faster-paced games like overwatch, apex legends, etc... And he will not play as well if he increases his sensitivity. also, shroud doesn't really invest that much time into every game, he pretty much now plays different games on stream every day, and his performance in different games is still pretty impressive.

same kind of delusional that lead people to believe that tom brady would be bad if he didn't have a deflated football. niko prefer low sens, but his ability in aim based games has nothing to do with picking the right sensitivity. someone like him is just naturally good at video games.

Firstly, flair doesn't check out. Secondly, xantares has one of the best aim I've ever seen, better than twistzz for sure, crosshair placement, micro correction, spray, flick, pretty much all right. One of the reasons why his peeks are so fast besides his ping is because of his perfect crosshair placement and extremely fast micro correction speed. For elige, his aim is way more consistent than twistzz, and imo Elige's aim is snappier and better. I may put twistzz on the 5th spot, interchangeable with s1mple and zyoo

debatable. NiKo plays more of crosshair placement etc. than just pure raw aim. Obviously his aim is incredible but not necessarily better than Twistzz's

wdym? watch his aggressive play man, it's just his style that he knows all the headshot angles so it's easier to tap and that makes him the goat rifler, that's just how mechanically good he is.
2021-03-04 12:57
In my opinion him having a good crosshair placement isn't a factor makes him less skillfull than than twistzz. It's not like he's going to stop having a good xhair placement just to prove that he is a better aimer. instead the xhair placement is an indication that he knows what he is doing in my opinion. But thats just my take on it.

+1 absolute clowns. even the ropz "godlike raw aimer" people are insane. he clearly has great aim, but raw skill he's not top 5. his skill actually reminds me of device, where they're easily one of the best and most skilled players, but their crosshair placement, game sense etc. pushes them further. it's not like NiKo/s1mple who are probably top 3 at both.

please mate, i beg you, go and watch his 1.6 matches. He was one of the top 3 aimers in 1.6. WTF are you talking about? Neo's prime was less than 2 years whilst f0rest is a beast of nature and had the most consistent high level performance than anyone in the cs history. Of course Neo had the best movement by far , but aiming-wise he was a god in the pistols and amazing with the awp as well, for a rifler. And also a decent rifler, at the same level with n0thing in his prime. But Neo at his peak had amazing aim. I don't know what you remember...

I played at a high level in 1.6 and have never been blown away by any demo except for f0rests demo's. Neo sprayed a lot just like GeT_RiGhT. Most of his kills were created by movement like I said and his general positioning and game sense.

(talking strictly about 1.6) I don't think NEO's aim was better than f0rest, but NEO had a sneaky way of always being in a great position to get frags, he was probably a smarter player than f0rest. In terms of raw aim, f0rest might have had a slight edge IMO. Loved them both as players, though.

ya i was only talking about 1.6 and not about aim or any specific. lots of things like positioning u mentioned are skill aswell. overall if i needed 1 guy to save a life, id bet on neo for sure. not even blink or 2nd guess my choice. f0rest always had superior teammates aswell in comparison to neos. ive followed them closely since the very beginning. both great tho, no knock on f0rest being 2nd.

agreed, 1.6 neo was a SMART player, his aim was good, no doubt, but his best attribute was his gamesense and positioning, he was always in a position to get multikills. in terms of raw aim, f0rest had a higher skill ceiling.

2021-03-05 05:26
1 reply
who made that claim? aim = precisely pointing crosshair on target, and flicking from a distance is harder and more skill-requiring than pre aiming which niko loves doing. obviously aim less important than brain or fragging in general, and so niko is a better player. and hs% matters, a top player with a 67% hs rate speaks for itself
2021-03-05 05:51
Niko 1 tapping people left and right vs top 5 opponents in officials and you think people should not call him best aimer?

2021-03-05 05:13
5 replies
but are you serious right now? you realize that having good crosshair placement is very much a mechanical skill, just like being good at hitting flick shots? also, spray consistency, micro adjustments and even movement (counter strafing) is mechanical skill and plays a part in aiming. all these silvers just looking at flashy flick shots of super inconsistent players and go "hE iS tHe gReAtEsT pLaYeR"
2021-03-05 05:29
4 replies
no its being good at aiming, not being good at mechanical skill mechanical skill is your ability to move the mouse quickly and accurately; the point of cs is to MINIMIZE that movement to get kills its aim intensive, but not mechanically intensive

"mechanical skill is your ability to move the mouse quickly and accurately" ACCURATELY. do you know what that means? crosshair placement requires ACCURACY. it requires very precise mouse movement.

Scream He wasn't the best, but the only thing he is the best is headshots. It seems to me he even didn't care about his/his team perfomance. The only thing he realy wanted is taping the heads although he had situations where it's better to spray or birst or another action...

Your argument is that hes high, baiting, and 12? Do you have any actual arguments? S1mple is incredibly accurate with every weapon and has extremely precise flicks.

my argument is that s2mple is shit without the awp, yes

Then how did he still have a top 3 rating in the world when guardian took over AWPing?

It does, you're just choosing to be difficult. Im not going to give an exact count of days for how long Guardian was on the team but it was over 3 months of 1.2+ rating. Thanks for confirming you have no arguments

probably 2nd awped the whole time, still baited everyone which is probably why everyone tilted so fast in that shit team and why guardian left, s2mple is average without awp and would never be in the top 3 without it

He didnt AWP very much at all. They rarely double AWPed. This argument isnt really about who baits or who doesnt, its about aim. And his aim was exceptional with rifles during that period which completely nullifies your claim. Even today his aim in rounds where he rifles is great.

dont really remember a single highlight of him without the awp tho, dont really give too much of a fuck to go check it out, his aim is not in the top 5 at the end of the day, not even close

youtube.com/watch?v=PPaX47v83G8 It is, thats why hes consistently top 3, because his aim with every gun is amazing. You dont get to be in the GOAT conversation without being top tier in all aspects of the game. Your argument boils down to "Hes not top 5 because i say hes not top 5" yet you cant back up a single reason why. Stop wasting my time lmao.

unironically still wouldnt call him a top 5 aimer, high sens, inconsistent, played without the awp for a few months and got back to it instantly to farm rating, cant really judge him by one highlight against gambit and his ability to destroy dogshit players online as good aim, idk why im even typing to you tho, youll always find a way to suck him off either way it seems
2021-03-06 16:52

Yeah still not a single valid argument from you as to why. Sens is irrelevant, hes one of the most consistent players in the world statistically and there are plenty of rounds where he rifles even on current iteration of Navi where you can clearly see he has insane rifle skill. You just cant accept reality. Another kid who cant face facts. Bye.

Uh no? They dont? Not nearly as high as s1mple. S1mple is 1 of 3 players to end a year over 1.3 rating vs top 20. But I guess aiming isnt part of AWPing in your book lmao. Its just fun to make you look silly, sorry

and yet hes #2 two years in a row, losing to another rating farmer with another, you guessed it, AWP, with which you dont need any aim at all, and, again, neither of them have the best aim to be considered top 5, i wont be replying to your dickriding anymore, have a good day

Yes another player who is also a top 5 aimer with insane rifle skill. Weird that s1mple and Zywoo are able to make the AWP work far better than any other players in the world by a large margain. Could it possibly be because they are exceptionally gifted aimers? Nah thats way too logical. Id love to see your top 5 lmao. Cya hater. Lmk when you learn to accept facts or can even make a proper argument. Imagine making an argument and then running away scared LOOOOOOOOOL

This is a bait list without a doubt, this list clearly doesn't take Source or 1.6 into account, and even ignored most of the older CSGO players. Also no Xizt obviously.
2021-03-06 06:48
How is Shroud not on this list? I meant to make a solid top 5 is nearly impossible, if it's based on pure aim. My list would be Cs 1. 6 1. F0rest 2. Get_Right 3. NEO 4. Spawn 5. Edward, potti, Element or Whimp. CSS. 1. RPK 2. Ex6TenZ 3. RattllesnK 4. Shox 5. FroD, NBK, Fifflaren or SmithZz CS:GO 1. Shroud, (unarguably one of the most consistent on point aimers there has ever been. 2. Niko 3. S1mple 4. Zywoo 5. ScreaM, F0rest, Coldzera, Fer, Dennis, Happy, ropz MICHU or Electronic.

I consider tracing a moving target to me the hardest possible aiming, and one of the best in history at that was f0rest. Especially in his prime, it was spooky. Flicking to stationary targets is much easier. It's an impossible question to answer. These guys come to mind. Niko, trace, f0rest, shox, s1mple.

Scream highlights against casual players? no the best aimer so far are playing currently, we never had a higher level like nowadays. i would place: 1. Niko 2. Zywoo 3. s1mple 4. electronic 5. Elige it is not like 2017, when coldzera was so far one of the best aimers, and CS was more individually and a Top tier aim does difference, everyone on the top 30 teams have it nowadays.

not really. even at his worst twistzz always had better aim than elige. elige isn't a top 5 aimer.

where is your top 5?
2021-03-06 16:39
Neither are but Elige is certainly more consistent in his aim than twistzz. Twistzz aim looks smoother but he simply misses more and isnt able to spray as cleanly. Even if elige looks slightly less clean he still hits the shot more often and is able to transition his aim into spray/bursts better.
2021-03-06 16:40
Niko > Twistzz lel
2021-03-06 12:37
Shox? One of the best aimers 2013-2016
2021-03-06 12:44
??????? Shox much better aimer than zyw0o
2021-03-06 15:58
No get_right 0/8 hope it is a bait thread
2021-03-06 16:38
of all time? gotta pick f0rest then
2021-03-06 16:52
all of time pure aim neto?????????? scream in prime better by far
2021-03-06 16:55
4 be like They know me as the headshot machine. They know me from the highlight they see. They know me from the matches they watch. They talk about my one taps and they think - for me - aiming is so easy. I just go into a match and that's it. But my aim, it's comes from more than just a game. For me - aim - it is about precision... This part people don't see. This part, it does not show up in highlights. When I sit down to play - everything - already is a part of me...

cs is low ttk click timing based game, if you look ow, quake, apex there are involved tracking which is hardest thing to do btw. All cs is gamesense and strats. This is why s1mple can lose with some streamers 1v1 but be the best player in game

is xms in this list just because of that overpass ace? this list feels like its more based on highlights then consistency. Also if you go for primes then twistzz definetly isnt 1
