Why is he getting so much hate after being benched by G2? He's the reason G2 is close to being relevant in csgo. They destroyed him but it's only kenny who's getting hated.

G2 fans are the most toxic people I've seen in quite a while. Disrespectful to their greatest csgo player. Probably bunch of retards who started watching csgo last year. You won't win any trophy with kovac brothers.

I've never seen anything like what G2 fans did to kennyS in recent times.
Only Na'vi fans in old times were more toxic towards their legends.

maybe my calendar is a bit little wrong but im almost sure i saw much more toxic communities recently than G2 fans with Kenny.
NaVi fans (not with their players but still toxic)
Astralis fans (this is the more old one if im not mistaken)
Vitality fans (also pretty old but not that much)
also i havent saw that much hate on Kenny, most of the times only people saying "sad"; "where can he go now?" or some analysis of his latest performances

trashtalking a team could be considered a banter, but it was not what was being done, surely not all of them were like that but a great part was being really really toxic towards the enemy team, and this perfectly match the concept of toxicity.
Also im pretty curious about what you said on the previous comment, "Dont bash legends". In any part of my comments i did that, anyway, i did make some comments saying that he was not playing well and imo G2 needed to bench him, this is not hate, this is an opinion based on things that do make quite of sense.
Also i dont think the mentality of dont hate him because he is a legend is not very nice, instead, i like to think that dont hating any player because of their performances is better, anyway, you can have an opinion to any player

I don't know what have you been reading friend. I see that there is division within the G2 fans, and a large mass of angry followers with comments supporting kennyS and several who do not understand the situation. From "he's a legend he'll be missed we'll support him on what he does" or "now what do I do with the G2 stickers, thanks to kennyS I play csgo ***" and so on...
It seems that the hatred has blinded you, because all G2 players have received hatred to a greater or lesser extent, and a lot of this hatred doesn't even come from "G2 fans" just look at NiKo
Many of those "G2 fans" have come out in defense of kennyS, and many others have expressed their discontent even though removing him is a necessary move.
I don't see how they destroyed him in any way when he's been given countless opportunities and special treats lol. G2 is the team he's been the longest in in his entire career.

I think the common point of view I've came across is fans showing gratitude and respect and at the same time understanding that it was a necessary move.

While him needing rest could be a reason, i seriously think this hate also plays a big role. I'm kinda relieved by this move tbh. I know he will get an even better opportunity, i just do...
