The real reason why i despise this ending is that it feels like *spoilers* the whole thing about her becoming a Skywalker for me totally comes out of nowhere and doesn't feel anywhere near deserved. It's like they tried to make some sense out of what all the past movies tried to do, but in the end we all know how those films are messy and the conclusion just makes it all look stupid
I kinda liked the first sequal movie, the last 2 where just that bad
Yeah i get that it's not cause of the ending that the film is bad, but for me it's like they tried to leave the franchise on a positive note and that everything they did in the sequels made the ending sense, but it just left a really bad taste in my mouth

the real reason Rise of Skywalker was a bad movie was well apart from said reasons it was trying to Cram 3 movies worth of story line into one Movie it felt really rushed also we never did get to find out what Finn was gonna tell Rey me personally i think he was about to tell her he was force sensitive but regardless what it was we will never know now what i did like in the movie was when Rey dual wielded Luke and Leia's light sabers to deflect the force lightning back onto Palpatine but even that was terrible because Palpatine being alive completely ruins the original trilogy

Obvious political agendas was pushed through this dogshit movies. i tried to watch the first one, but it was so fucking bad that i felt more like it was torture. the "bad guy" is an absolute manlet bitch i would fuck up in a second. compare this spineless fuck to darth vader or darth maul and u see whats wrong with the mentality behind these movies. absolute trash kids movie, anybody above the age of 16 who finds this movie entertaining even the slightest should be quarentined, not a single smart perosn in the world would enjoy this trash.

I came here just to write that
TROS was dead on arrival and the reason for it was that abomination called The Last Jedi. Disney fucked up and wrote themselves into a corner. They had only one movie, no villain, 2/3 of the OT heroes dead and the one alive was pretty much dead because Carrie Fisher had passed away. Finn was useless and had 0 development in TLJ. General Hux was already a laughing stock so there wasn't much to do with him.
In all honesty, I don't hold a grudge towards TROS because it was doomed to fail the moment TLJ rolled credit. TLJ on the other hand, I have the deepest hate one person could have towards a movie. And towards the ENTIRE movie, not just the ending.

i can see dani becoming a frustrated totalitarian leader overwhelmed by her targaeryan heritage. i mean, there were a lot of hints towards her cruelty (the slave trader, crucifying the noblemen,..) , but not in such short time.

If we project this to Harry Potter . It would be the same if Ginny killed Voldemort in the beginning of the seventh movie. Then Hermione gone mad and ruined and killed half of Hogwarts, then Harry killing her and sentenced to rot in Azkaban for this "crime".

The show was still really good until the last season. Maybe it wasn't as good as it was in the first seasons, but it was still really good. What ruined it for me was how it all played out in the last season, it felt like producers just gave up and wanted to move to other projects ASAP.
That whole big fight with the army of the dead was insanely rushed. The ending of Night Kings' character arc, which was built for multiple seasons, was just an absolute disaster & disappointment. And, the ending itself with Bran becoming the king was probably the biggest nonsense I've ever seen on TV.

totally disagree here.
the downfall came with martin leaving which was at the end of season 4. you can see it in the dialogues and especially in the shift of the story telling focusing more onto the personal drama and not on the entire story anymore unlike before.
theres a really good essay somewhere in the net that explain the different approaches of story telling in tv shows/movies and why there are only so much series that do it really well (the wire as a good example)
with season 5 also teleporting started btw... just check how varis is flying around the world being with iron bank, in essos, back at dragonstone, etc,...

If you take and analyze all the scenes and dialogues like a critique then you are probably right.
Just IMO those things didn't make the show straight-up bad. It was still a good show, there were exciting storylines and characters, surprises, CGI, until the last season of course. Where they totally failed to bring those storylines and character arcs to decent endings.

in elevator scene. dicaprio(idont remember the names) tries to get castello's rate arrested by calling his friend from the academy since he isn't allowed to arrest but then when they go down the elevator castello's other rat comes and kills the dicaprio so that mat damonn wont speak about castello. but then the guy who dicaprio comes down from stairs the 2.rat kills him so he doesnt get arrestd for murder. but than mat damon kills the 2.rat so he doesnt have to be in this mess. so after all these matt says the 2.rat was the original rat and dicaprio was the undercover. and then funeral whatever.
after all these happens diagnam(?) the second guy who was chief of dicaprio
kills mat damon because he know dicaprio was undercover and if only matt survived that shooting u can understand that matt was the original rate in police castello had. see its a pretty good ending

I started to like it because of the tension, the story and the action, you always think that something will happen, you think and think but again you are not sure, and then something third happens..The only thing I didn't like was when a character knows everything that will happen but nobody believes him, I know it was done on purpose, but as a person it irritates me a lot. The first season for example. And when brody died I was sad but soon I continued to watch, by chance when I was going to see something more about Quinn I saw that he would not survive, fuck when the series is over it's hard to avoid spoilers, maybe Its better that i saw because otherwise i couldn't stand it. I will really miss it but I will try to watch it to the end. Thanks for the talk about series , i never had a chance to talk and share thoughts about series to other guys.

Honestly i wasn't watching series before this, i watched only movies and more about ww2 , then i saw for BoB and came here, and thats what i though for a second "when this ends, what will i watch?" I rly like this serie style, loved every second in this 6 seasons , glad it had a great run , i mean 8 season are good for series, 96 episodes if im not wrong. Are The Americans similar to Homeland, because if yes im looking forward to watch it. But i think that future movies/series will be based on style that homeland had, i hope so.

The Americans is mostly about a husband and his wife who are spies and lot of interesting things happen. Really amazing show. A bit based on Homeland, but this one revolves around this couple.

I saw on channel on tv one episode, and i searched on yt about it and someone tells me that this is season 8, i told myself oh shit 8. seasons i rly want to watch but idk how many episodes are per season , could be 10 or 50.I started in early 2020 and in 2 or 3 weeks watched 3 seasons ,i just could stop it ,said to myself just one more and then things got more exciting and i must to watch more .Then in beggining of 4. seson i think 2. episode just before lochkart will send carrie in islamabad , i stopped becuase it was quite boring. And now in 2021 i got bored and got an idea lets watch more. And again things started to be interesting again and i began to be obsessed with. Watched 2 seasons for 2 weeks , more 2 to finish , but 6. season rly hurt me...Ye i can understand how it could be i would go crazy if i need to wait 1week for one episode and +if things got so exciting , and one episode passes very quickly when you rly enjoy watching it...First i was sad because it started in 2011 and i watched in 2020 but im happy that i even noticed it and watch it

Im sad but sooner as i get over it it will be better for me. Yet in the end it's just a series, and I wanted to respect Alex Gansa who did a great job, he got a lot of hate because of Quinn's death. From angry fans who loved him to some foundation about people who have PTSD if I'm not mistaken. Quinn will always live where he belongs with Astrid. It is certainly a bit excessive to hate a writer because of that, but it proves how much people liked him and how sad they are. So excited to watch him in anatomy of scandal , i think he can do great at MAIN role in series..
just finished whole Homeland...Pretty good season and finale,7 season was boring til they got in Moscow but season 8 was intense always ,but for me season 4 is the best...Finale was good and max death was sad,but something that had more impact on me is Anna death (Saul asset),it was so impactful and sad but Anna and Saul story was just 2 episodes...One of the greatest if not the best stories and series i have ever seen by far. Hat down to writers , and Homeland is realistic series thats why i like too. If not Quinn would be alive and will be saving Max alone. For sure im gonna miss Homeland hope in future will come more series similar to Homeland!.

Not many people like shows related to CIA, NSA or secret service and all that stuff. But I loved the show man. Mostly the part which involved terrorists in middle-east and all that stuff. I even watched bodyguard. And even I like watching WW1 and WW2 movies, those old style guns and totally different battlefields, so many stories, really awesome. U know just because of my interest towards the stories of WW1 and WW2, I played COD1 and COD2 multiple times and the recent one COD WW1 was superb.

like after steve carrell left i would say the show "died". Its unreal for me that they wouldnt sign his contract back, nbc is known to do shit like that before, so nothing less expected, but that was pretty bad... The people acting was the only reason why u could watch s8 and s9, so they got to carry it big time.

Logicall Explanation, why no people rather than The order of the Pheonix showed up in the Battle for Hogwarts. but more than that, It would have got even more personal for Voldemort and Potter. I really like Cabin in the Woods an, i appreaciate the comedic value and why they did those so exaggerated bits - once you undertand the satire behind it you see why the twists are done this way, but after all the events I felt that they kinda rushed through the ending.
On a similar note but with a much better ending I recommend the old "From Dusk 'Till Down" with Tarantino and Clooney.. A masterpiece of trash cinema :D

in a game like Life is Strange, the end is always gonna be the same no matter how much you try to change or reverse it. Similar to Wolf Among Us or Walking Dead games etc. What i liked about Life is Strange however, was the fact that the main angle of the story was the exact trend of these games ending the same no matter what you try and they addressed it and changed it into the storyline. Chloe is gonna get shot and be ded . no matter what. The way they did that game is why i liked it !

not a movie but Two and Half Men, it sucked ass since Sheen left but the ending was just a shit cherry on top
in terms of movies, Prisoners had a pretty garbage ending from the top of my head but there is probably a lot more

Yeah, well the ending was decent, but overall it was a lot of missed potential, was a great movie, but could have been fucking sick.
Prisoners, although it’s pretty clear Gyllenhaal heard the whistle it still bothers me he could die in the pit and never be found.

most of the movie was at some point kinda 'realistic'. While at the end, main character makes whole village sex other randoms on the big meeting, only cuz of the scent. Later other ppl start to eat that main character, cause of the perfume he used.

My 2 cents..
The reason behind this is that Grenouille has no sense of society nor regard for humanity and has no scent of his own. Because of this he hunts his preys for the sole purpose of making his masterpiece (based on the scent of 25 virgins if I recall correctly) meanwhile he slowly starts to understand that he and his talent would never be understood nor appreciated so at the end he kills himself in the most romantic way an artist could think of, that is by his own creation. It's a good closure (imo) for someone with such passion and hectic reasoning.

Apologies, you are quite correct; I mixed my terms up. She is both the damsel in distress and the hostage macguffin.
I remember sitting there, watching the lit matchstick spin out of her fingers, and saying "I bet that bloke catches it before it hits the petrol" 2 seconds before the hand entered from stage right and pluck it out of the air. GG worst ending of all time
