It's good, very good, if done meticulously. However, it's too much for low-experienced casual viewers to understand. Understanding that style of play requires lots of gamesense, knowledge about in-game positioning, the timings, the teamplay involved, etc. Also, it's not as flashy as running up and getting headshots.
yeah i dont call it baiting much, I call it for what it is. being a pussy who lets his whole team run out and is last alive with 0 impact.
Most "Baiters" in lower levels don't do it purposefully, they are just afraid to die as they are noobs and aren't as confident. But baiters in level 10+ are ACTUAL baiters, only padding their stats so they can say they have 25 average kills and that the bottom fragger should go kill himself with his 15 avg.
ye had a guy always last alive saying he needs to be last alive to carry the game cuz we all suck... result was him being bottom fragger even tho he baited so hard for frags... faceit is fun at some points
of course man, someone cant even afford normal gun will die to get info, omg baiters :D
I tried to bait once in a FaceIT game because my team was being toxic and I wanted to be obnoxious. It was actually really hard to force myself not to try and get trade kills and just hiding behind my team a bunch of times, especially as I consider myself usually the person who is the bait for the trade.
I can't understand how people can bait so easily, it's such an insanely boring playstyle to have to bait your team and not get the trade kills. People are either extremely patient, have a lack of confidence and/or are stupid.
bait = draws the enemy's attention to the wrong place
baiter = uses that to his advantage
maybe the best tactic there is
It's part of the game strat some teams have so i do not understand it aswell
don't give a fuck go first die first
play fast die fast
imo baiting is when you have to step up but you dont and wait to see whats going to happen. Then you start playing according to the result
you engage enemy and teammate doesnt peek when they are in position to do so - that's bait
you walk but teammate runs up behind you and starts walking behind you - that's bait
you plant but teammate doesnt cover unchecked angle - that's bait
teammate lets enemy past defence with the intention to flank them without alerting team - that's bait
teammate goes for knife resulting in your death - that's bait
