Jamppi Valorant
Denmark MarshmellowsTime
It seems that Jamppi's move to Valorant, dying game (viewers totally crashed and sponsors leaving because of that and money goes with them) was bad move, with him Liquid haven't even made to money spots in four tournaments I know that in csgo none of pro teams wanted him because he got busted cheating and got csgo vac ban, but still? What you think? Did Jamppi made bad move when he left to dying game?

well I mean the 1 chance he had in csgo got robbed of him then he wasnt too great on ENCE. was his best option

Why do you even care about Valorant and its players? Leave them be. If they went to Valorant, is because they're trash. Let them stay that way

Honestly what makes me laugh is these tier 2 and washed pros going from CS to Valorant because they cant compete vs upcoming talent. What happens when upcoming talent comes in valorant these washed pros are actually fucked lmao. So many of them are gonna be left without a pro team

seems that someone doesnt understand why people changed games , is not about new talent is not about skill
2021-04-12 02:02
Why are people so obsessed with him going to Liquid Valorant. It makes perfect sense for him to have left CS as he wasn't going to get unbanned, let him be.
2021-04-01 01:13
He wasn't great in CSGO either to be honest lol.... But who cares people like to overexaggerate, also Valorant is a much lower skill ceiling game, if he can't perform there then it's over for him.

I don't like valorant, but you can't call it a dead game when it's above csgo in viewers on twitch currently as we speak Also I do think it was a good idea for him only if he actually enjoys the game. He signed with one of the biggest orgs and is fine so far

the only cs streams on twitch appeal to a highly competitive audience. it makes sense that the valorant category has more viewers.

as of right now whenever theres a big cs match and big valorant match at the same time CS usually wins by a very large margin mind you cs can get up to 200k viewers while val caps out about 100k usually with an outside streamer like shroud or ninjas help.

I think he made the only possible move. His career was obviously bottlenecked by his ban so there was really no reason to stay when he had the chance to make Valorant a career

Not a bad move. What did you expect him to do? Valve doesn't care to unban him, that has to be demotivating along with annoying
2021-04-01 01:26
Valorant has double the viewers of csgo right now, they are making huge numbers ever since the last big tournament, plus valve would never revert his ban, so why would he stay in CS when valorant is clearly growing and liquid pays well, and a game making money is not only about tournament rewards, sponsors do a lot, and riot sure give teams support and safety to invest just like they do with LOL, sadly in terms of attention riot > valve

"Valorant has double the viewers of csgo right now" to be fair, valorant is having a major right now. Viewership otherwise has actually dropped off

the "masters" series is a big event, yes, but the games of the first stage stopped day 21, literally RN 100k viewers while cs has 60k and their biggest streamers (hiko, tenz, ninja, shroud) are not even online at this time, they had 0 tournament games in the last week and their average is almost the same as CS with ESL having teams like liquid and astralis playing correction: they had the brazil challengers but its a B tier tournament

You realize you're basically comparing stream viewers when there aren't tournaments, right? It's like saying R6 beats CS because right now has over 100.000 (80k watching NA R6L) just The reality of CS viewership as an eSport (What matters to the topic) twitter.com/Slasher/status/1353086720162.. Valorant has a long way to go (Even with streamers co-hosting) twitter.com/slasher/status/1373767456146..

your losing what i said, "right now", its not "last year" not "ever", in the last 2 months their average was bigger than csgo thats it, look on twitch tracker, simple as that, the idea is not to tell that valorant is a better e-sport but to show that the game is nowhere near "dead" as this thread says, plus even if it was that what i meant, CS is the one getting favored in the comparison as they had big teams like liquid and astralis playing, while valorant only had brazilian teams in tier 2 tournament last week, id say the advantage easily goes to CS

i used the month average, i not debating over e-sports popularity i'm just saying that in this moments (considering that csgo neither valorant had their biggest event yet) they have huge numbers that compete with ours
2021-04-01 04:57
No one with 2 brain cells would think Valorant is dead, but also you can't use "twitch tracker" to gauge which one has more attraction as an eSport (What matters on the "Jamppi" topic presented by trolling OP). Valorant having more views on a daily basis should be expected. The game is newer and has many streamers with huge followings playing it often (Ninja, Pokimane, Shroud, etc.). But that doesn't mean the game has more attraction than CS as an eSport. In that regard, CS still miles ahead of Valorant, which only NA (Thanks to co-hosts), Brasil, and Turkey have remarkable numbers. We will see in the future, but as of right now CS still on top.

just read the thread, the dude literally said valorant is a dying game, its there, i was answering him, i never said valorant had more attraction, i'm just saying it has views and a community
2021-04-01 04:53
there weren't tournament in begin either but viewerrates were good but then majority of people saw that valorant is too childish gamelook and too boring to watch Also big CS tournaments have over 20-30x more viewers than biggest valorant tournaments

Nothing is crashing bro. It dipped after beta and it’s steadily going up. But believe whatever lol Keep thinking it’s a CS v Val battle when Riot plans seem to be much bigger. Valve can care less cause steam prints money. twitchtracker.com/games/516575

he have won 0€ so far in 7 tournaments (not all mentioned there) funniest part is that players who couldn't success in csgo moved to valorant and he cannot even beat them there (just like he had bad stats vs pro players and pro teams in cs during his 8 months ence period, he just didn't have talent and skill to highest top in cs) and now he can't beat lowskilled valorant players if he isn't the most overhyped player ever, i dont know who is

Okay the big problem I have with this is CS is pretty much solely a competitive game compared to Valorant which was made to appeal to a younger audience hence the graphics. Keeping that in mind then the streams for Valorant should appeal more where as CS should appeal to the dedicated fanbase built up over the years and kinda ignore outside appeal So ofcourse Valorant should have more viewers only way to compare fairly is by evaluating certain areas for example. Compare similar tier event viewers ect

he didn't have high potential, he was overrated all long he had good results vs really bad teams and players (where finnish hype came), but during 8 months on top level team he couldn't achieve anything and had really bad stats (one of worst amongs pros) against real top teams and top players

I think it was his best choice to stay in a pro scence. But i also think a lot of ex-cs pros will fail in valorant when the game evolved a bit more

why are people here so triggered about valorant lmao

Some people think of competition in negative terms, whereas in reality the competition brought to CSGO by Valorant helps the game evolve in (mainly) positive ways Also there's the endless cycle of: Dumb valorant fan saying it will kill csgo, then dumb csgo fan hating on valorant and trolling its dropping viewership (to be expected as it was artificially influenced by beta keys drop and LoL players realise they can't aim that well and go back to LoL), and so on and so on...
