I`ll state 5 teams that i believe are the ones that will fight for the title and 3 of them will be in the semi-final, i need your statement with argumentation of why do you think this team will win the major.

give it time, talent wise the players now are just as capable as back then...broky has a similar passive playstyle as guardian, twistzz has just as much potential as olof did and cold is getting better with his lurks after twistzz joined. ruling them out of major contention would be a mistake. but i agree, there's definitely room for improvement, and i hope it comes sooner rather than later
NaVi can actually surprise, certainly when everyone is writing them off and more certainly on LAN. But I think Astralis again have big chance and Gambit, if they play the same on LAN as online but who knows.

I dont think G2 will be in the Semifinals. They arent consistent enough and I think Niko isn't good enough of an AWPer to justify throughing his Rifle Skills away. If Gambit holds their current state they have a good chance same with VP. I think FaZe will be good. Karrigan is a great IGL and has the Team he needs to reach his goals. I would love to see coL win the Major i love them! But I don't know if they will play good enough in the Major. My Favourite Winner would be BIG bc of the way they played last year. They changed many things in the way some Maps are played etc and their starts and Util Usage was great to look at but by now I don't think they'll have a chance at a Semifinal spot.
I want to remind you to not forget Astralis and Vitality. Even tough both arent as good as 1 Year ago they will still be beasts on LAN.

I can buy your Faze clan, VP and Gambit. I dont think g2 will go very far either, with the ego of niko that team will go to shit. Bald pick for a team that hasn't won anything in 5 years.
I see Astralis, Gambit, VP, Navi, Liquid ahead of any other team atm. Maybe you can include Faze in the long run (5 or 6 months from now) Same goes for vitality, if they find their form again, could win it.
Objectively: from most to less likely, keeping in mind the long run, LAN pressure etc

they have plenty of time to get rid of amanek and jacks, look at ex-winstrike, El1an + krad/forester ( all of them speak english and they are free now) this is an upgrade for G2 and they`ll have a lot of time to practice.
